The Acer R14 is a great touchscreen laptop with many awesome specs, such as the 8GB of RAM, the SSD, and the Intel Skylake i5. This combination of specs really make this a fast, snappy computer for all kinds of usage, from web browsing to light gaming. The only negative u have to say about this laptop is that I wish the screen was brighter. Besides that I think this is a great alternative to more expensive laptops.

This is my first solid state and 2 in 1 laptop. I am impressed by the speed and sound of it. I have a hp laptop that i bought not a full year before this one and it does not compare by far. So far this 2 in 1 acer is outstanding and the fastest laptop i have ever owned and i have owned 6 now.

I have had this pc for ten months and it runs as expected. Price and value with a 256GB Solid State Drive and 8 GB of memory imake this laptop quite functional and fast. USB 3.0 connections and a USB C port, that I use for a internet lan connection, make this a very usable laptop.

Very user-friendly laptop, just the right size that I can carry with me. I love it's touchscreen, and apps, I also purchased geek support. It has an eight hour battery which last me all day long there is no need to charge it. I recommend The Acer as its lightweight and fast speed.

Seeing this is a top rated laptop all over the place got me wondering how would it fair under normal use. I am pleased. While I have not used it as a Surface Tablet that much, its like getting two devices in one. I am an Apple user primarily, but I use Windows 10 as well. This laptop is rugged and very speedy for everyday apps, internet, email, and some games. Its not a gaming rig but its a really nice workhorse for the rest of us.

This laptop has a sturdier case than alot of the lower price point laptops. The Intel Core i5 processor is not the most recent but it has more than sufficient power for home use -personal and business. Windows 10 performs great. Easy to set up.

This note book has slime design, excellent speed and great storage. A great value for the price.

I liked many of the features, but I got a lemon. So I made lemonade by returning it! Bought a Lenovo instead. Still have not figured out how to transfer some info. But that's me..................

ACER has done a splendid job providing people with internal parts at a great value. Dell, HP, and Samsung can not touch this price for the quality parts you receive. Also, the amount of bloat ware was less that other prefabrivaled systems from other companies. Only complaint would be the delicate nature of the charging port. A new design would benefit people who toss their devices on the couch, or have animals/children.

Wish the keyboard was back-lit. Not all that fond of Windows 10 - hate it when a computer thinks it knows what I want better than I do. The only real issue I got was getting some king of malware that looked like per-installed link to Geek Squad - got in on day 1. Best Buy should warn customers about it.

good having SSD, fast boot. Great for everyday computing; Not enough RAM, no video card for video editing, but then you get what you pay for. Touch screen and track pad are good. No complaints. Waited 3 yrs to write review.

My mom got one a couple of months ago. Excellent resolution with full HD, 256 SSD, fast for what she uses it for (emailing, movies, social apps., photos, music). I did a lot of research, there is a very similar Toshiba Satellite; however, I read a lot of very bad reviews, plus, it is way below at a consumer's report performance list. This Acer is in the top 10 in that same category, plus a couple of hundreds less. Great deal. First time Acer buyer, impressed!

Bought after having problems with Lenovo Yoga. Love this laptop at pricepoint. Blue Light Shield makes nightime reading so much better. I have an Acer all in one desktop as well that has performed flawlessly for over 2 years and recently purchased 8 27" Acer LCD's for my work station.

The computer is great for home use. I am not a gamer so this cpu has plenty of power for my needs. The only potential problem would be the power cord. The connection to the computer seems a little weak(easy to break) for my liking. I'll just be careful with it and it should be fine.
