THE COMPUTER WAS GOOD FOR THE PRICE, HOWEVER, YOUR SALES PEOPLE DID ME AND YOU A DIS SERVICE because they did not explain that some apps were not included, especially a publishing app. It's apparent your sales people need to know their products. One of you mgr people had to help with the order entry, and no one spoke of the value, or apps in the computer, and I was not smart enough to ask. disappoiinted, yes. I expexcted better customer service out of Best Buy.........

Bought to replace an aging XP PC, the setup on this unit was fast and easy. It asks if you want to transfer settings from your Windows Live acct., in my case linked to a laptop running 8.1, so the new unit has all my bookmarks, screensaver, preferences such as skipping the password screen,etc. So much easier than starting from scratch. The speed for normal web-surfing and emails is great. Video and audio seems good. My only gripe is that two USB ports in back are used by the keyboard and mouse, reducing the number really available for other things. Windows 8.1 is a good OS once you set it to bypass the absurd tile screen and go directly to desktop. I use Chrome as my browser. For the price, I doubt you will find a better overall value than the Acer.

Slow, and has way to many useless programs........

Infected already after I bought separate antivirus. Can spmeone see if under warranty or who can help me?

It was slower than the one I was using so I returned it.

For what we use it for this tower meet all our needs.

I bought this for my daughter for college-school work. She took it and said it is easy to set up, runs good. So far her complaints is that she can not download Mozilla and Google Chrome on it. Not really sure why? She is limited to using IE only.

Bought this for my son last Christmas and he has had no issues. Loves it! The free Geek Squad service helped him get it set up as his apt. Internet was not compatible. All working well.

The computer itself was fine but the keyboard included was cheap. Certain keys stick and you will be typing along and all of a sudden the cursor would start to backspace all the way to the beginning of a line, or sometimes it would skip letters. I ended up ordering a better keyboard from Amazon.

Good price but I was very disappointed with the results. The computer is extremely slow and it crashed hard on day 2. I dont mind taking it back but i hate to lose the 5 hours getting it setup and configured and now I need to start over again. Need a better brand.

Very disappointed the description said it was DDR3 memory and it was really DDR3L (Laptop Memory) in a desktop. So much more expensive to add an 8GB DDR3L memory vs an 8 GB DDR3 Memory. Has only 1 slot for memory. The description and the outside of the machine says DDR3 but open it up and you discover the switch.

The processor is the slowest I've ever experienced.
