I purchased this device because my old Acer Chromebook had hit past the five year mark with no updates. It was a great device. I saw this for $130 on sale and it was 15.6". I was definitely interested in a larger device after having had the 11.6". I usually pay real close attention to ratings and reviews. This one does have a good review overall. However, I never saw the fact that this device is actually only a 720p definition screen. I didn't even know they made those any more. It was definitely poorly noted. I had to go back to the specific specs after I received this device to confirm it was in fact 720p as opposed to 1080p. As a whole, I like the device. It is just like my old one but with not as clear of a picture, though it still isn't bad or anything. For $130, it is what it is and I will keep it until I need another one in 5 years. It's really not worth the hassel to return and find something different.

nice little unit, good for bill keeping and grab and go

It’s ok for basic use . We have really good internet so if you try to do games on there they lag a lot think it’s because of ram soca e is so small. You can’t hold any memory on this or it is slow . Don’t save anything just use to email , search things like that

Awesome laptop, fast speed and I love chromebook..

This replaced a sluggish Acer chromebook we bought in late 2018. We did not know that there was an expiration date for Chrome updates. This new Chromebook has a June 2028 automatic update expiration date. We should be good until then. We’ve only had it for a couple of weeks. So far so good.

Acer 15.6 Laptop Computer is a Great economic value! It comes with four gigabytes of memory which is more than enough for my personal use age.

Perfect for basic tasks ( checking email, browsing the web, online shopping). Start up is pretty much instantaneous - turn it on, log in and it’s working. It literally is like turning on a light switch. Probably wouldn’t pay full price for this however. Picked mine up for almost 50% off.

Very well priced Chromebook with more than enough power to handle everyday tasks. Excellent for both the elderly parents and kids, not fully operational for work with meetings online. Battery life is advertised as 12hr, on reality only got up to 7th, huge difference.

Perfect substitute for a general laptop. For my everyday usage, this is all I need. Watch videos when I want to, have access to all the Google apps, and its even touch screen. And the cost is extremely reasonable!
