A great choice for students who enjoy casual gaming here and there. Mostly a media consumption and work device and less of a gaming one but that is just fine for the price!

I just picked up this chromebook, not for gaming, but for video and audio ability and the backlit keyboard. I checked EVERY review before purchasing. 95% positive. Only negative I found was corner rear hinge had small plastic wing sticking out you have to be careful of...scratched me. But that wasn't enough for me to downgrade it. Super performance!!

I don't use it for gaming but want the speed. This Chromebook is really fast. Has everything that I need, except it won't print with my old printer. Tried my usual workarounds, even they didn't work. I do have an older printer, maybe it's time for an upgrade there too.

My old laptop needed a replacement. I decided to go with the Acer-Chromebook 516 GE after doing research on many websites to make a decision. I just "love" this laptop. Easy to use and very quick compared to my old computer. As a bonus, it was on sale at Best Buy. Terrific

There isa lot I haven't found yet, I learn new things every day. It's very fast turning on & off. I only wish I had more time to learn how to use it and had someone to teach me, but it definately is an improvement from what I had before.

I already had an Acer Chromebox. This Chromebook is the best. I have brought it with me while traveling and it performs very well. It actually exceeded my expectations. No extra or unnecessary Microsoft products to sign up for that I'd never use anyway.

This is an amazing laptop for my daughter she really loved it and wouldn’t trade this in for anything else

I converted to a Chromebook several years ago for my daily personal and work computing. This Acer Chromebook 516 GE has been an extremely powerful computer with excellent response, battery time, and optics!

This is a great streaming gaming laptop, it can play some older games on steam at 1280-720p resolution at low settings, fast wi-fi beautiful display and really fast too

This is an amazing chromebook. I have used it for everything from daily stuff to gaming on geforce now. Played Cyberpunk flawlessly. The screen is just gorgeous! The RGB keys are pretty dim. I thought the sound was pretty good. Some people complain about that.

This solid feeling machine has a great screen, along with features and capabilities usually only found on much more expensive Chromebooks and laptops.

Although I am a gamer, playing games on this isn't of interest to me. I wanted a Chromebook with a large screen, backlit keyboard, smooth trackpad, and more power under the hood than the typical Celeron. This Chromebook delivered on all of the above. Its battery life is very good, the keyboard is comfortable to click on. The only feature it is "missing" is a touchscreen (years of Surface usage have gotten me accustomed to them). I did wait for a sale though, because the MSRP feels rough.

My daughter uses it all the time. For the first time in a long time she is happy with her technology. It keeps up with her and works for everything she needs.

Gaming chromebook plus has the nicer video/audio and backlit keyboard. Performance is much faster than my dell pc and touchpad buttery smooth. USB - C charging is awesome, now i use this charger for watch, phone and laptop.

I love my new Acer Chromebook as it holds all my precious pictures!! It's also a gaming laptop which I don't use for that, but man this laptop is quick to respond when looking anything up!!

Nice screen and fast machine. Returned item because it did not connect to current smart tvs via HDMI nor casting screen.

Great screen with 120Hz which is unusual for a Chromebook, and even for laptops in this price category. The build quality is good as well, keyboard is okay.
