    I got this laptop for my grandson for Xmas and he loves it. He loves that it is touch screen as well. So it was a great buy

      We are sorry you are unhappy with your Acer Chromebook. Chromebooks are different from Windows laptop products in that they are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and documents living in the cloud. Because of this they don’t have much for on board storage but they also are not expensive either. Chromebooks run off apps like an Android phone or tablet so you cannot download and install applications or .exe files. If you need to use third party software applications that must be installed on the computer, a Chromebook is likely not for you, where a Windows laptop would suit you better.     Acer Chromebook - WiFI fails. Has bugs.

    Had to call for help with initial setup. Help is still needed as WIFi keeps being lost (other devices in house - old ones I might add - do not lose signal. Printer driver does not work.

    I have had this unit for a few months. Battery life is not super compared to other Chromebooks. Sometimes, I want to go into tablet mode and restart it to get the on-screen keyboard to go away.

    Great computer, but there are a few set backs. The sound cuts out sometimes and won't come back on until you turn it off and on. Then when I'm watching Greys Anatomy on Netflix, it gets really blotchy and sometimes it wont even let me watch that specific show. Other then those problems, the computer it great.

    I bought this laptop for my wife to primarily do internet things. For that it has worked pretty well. It had pretty good specs for the price I paid.

    This computer did not last me a full semester of college. I had issues with the power cutting off at random times and eventually it shut off completely. In that time frame (5 months) the computer depreciated so much it cost more to fix than it was worth. The computer did not receive any abnormal wear or tear to cause this issue.

    Glitches and lacking important keys

    At first was happy about this purchase until I really started to use it at length. First, there are no Caps Lock or Delete buttons which is really inconvenient when typing emails or other documents. Also, there was a lot of glitching when it came to bullet points and creating new paragraphs. I had to find work arounds to do what I needed. The issues were so persistent that I had to return this item.

    Fully charged yet it continues to power down

    Brand new gift for my kid and she can’t even use it because it keeps powering down for no reason. Battery is almost completely charged and it powers down. Unbelievable!

    Used to be a good computer, but every time I try to use my computer it shuts off within 2 minutes. Can’t even do anything and no one wants to help.
