I enjoy the flexibility of this Chromebook; I often switch to tablet mode. I require to use a Chromebook for work purposes (not my preference) although I am happy with the power to run multiple programs and the sharp detailed display on this device.

This was the first time I decided to try chrome book out because I heard it was good for college students. This probably is the worse laptop for college students. To add to that my fan malfunction a few days from having it so I sent it off to get repaired instead of returning to give it a chance. Then the acer people were trying to tell me the only way the fan would of been making the loud noise it was making is if I dropped it and was trying to say I dropped it and broke it and now was trying to get it fix. After I sent it off to repair on December 22nd I kept contacting people asking when the laptop would be fixed for everybody to keep running me in circles when somebody said ALOT of chrome books end up there to be repaired. That was my key that when it got fixed I would return the laptop and get a new brand rather then chrome book because why are a lot of chrome books getting sent to be repaired.

Trust me and do not buy an Acer product. I've now had to return my Acer 3 times for repairs. The first was for a faulty screen. I had a dead pixel area appear on the screen. When Acer returned my chromebook, they failed to configure it correctly and the device would not charge. Now I have to return it for a 3rd time due to speakers making a popping noise when watching any video. I absolutely will not purchase another Acer product. I requested for Acer to make it right and send me a new device, but their customer service regurgitated the typical corporate rhetoric and I'm left with a lemon.

Bought this for my husband to have in addition to his tablets. He is satisfied with it. I have heard no complaints and that is a big thing in itself. It had the software to open a Microsoft spreadsheet from office 2010 and he can update it etc. It is a nice size and I got the lap desk to go with it.

Blazing fast! Very impressed with this model. I previously bought a 2020 i3 model and this blows that out of the park. The orientation being 3:2 is also noce for typing and reading articles/ docs for work. This 2021 model also has a more premium build quality and feel compared to the 2020 model.

I bought this for my son to use at college. He wanted a smaller laptop to carry to and from class. And the one he received in high school had slowed to a crawl. He reports that the speed is great and he is able to do most needed tasks on this laptop.

Overall I like it but it would have been nice if it would have come with a user guide as it is a little different from other laptops. It has nice speed and I like that besides being a laptop it can also become a tablet.

Absolutely love it. The power is amazing. I keep about 25 windows open all the time for work. Easy to operate. Backlit keyboard is helpful if you keep low lighting. Now the feature that sets it apart is the larger display, it is fantastic.

One of the best Chromebooks currently available. Super fast performance for anything you can throw at it. The i5 is a beast combined with Intel evo. Love the 3:2 aspect ratio vs the more common widescreen, especially when using in tablet mode. Battery life could be better.

I am currently sending my second spin 713 to Acer for repair. The first one- the keyboard started changing characters? three days after purchase. That on actually went back to Best Buy. The second one lasted two 1/2 months. The screen went black and cannot be rebooted. So I must pay to return in to Acer.

About as good of a Chromebook as you are ever going to find. More than enough for any tasks you can do with a Chromebook. It will even be a decent low-spec gaming device once Steam rolls out for Chromebook.

Had to return my first one because it wasn't working properly and kept on crashing. I have absolutely loved this laptop now that I have a working one. Its powerful enough to have many tabs open at once, which because of my multi-tasking is a necessity.

I've dumped my PC and then my mac, Chromebooks do what most of us need them to do, and way easier. With the advent of high-speed internet and cloud storage, a Chromebook is the perfect go-to device.

Best Laptop I have ever owned. it's fast and reliable. I got it for school for my degree in computer science. This Chromebook is solid and runs fast. It's easy to operate and navigate. I would highly recommend this product.

Tom Gordon the Crime Guy was so very helpful in helping pick out the best machine but also in a quick tutorial on how to use it. He assisted the Geek Squad on how to set it up.

It's a great system - lots of storage (RAM and SSD), good processor, very nice display. The one thing that's not awesome is the battery life. It's somewhat average. But I still like it.

I've had this Chromebook for an hour, and it's going straight back to the store. The fan spins up loudly to top speed and then stops, incessantly pulsing sporadically over and over. Not only is it incredibly annoying and startling, but it eats up battery like crazy. It does this whenever the machine is signed in (as a user, or as a guest), even if it's supposedly idle, and even if Wifi is disabled. The problem might be hardware, or firmware, or ChromeOS. I don't care. This is supposed to be an easy device to use, and it gets great reviews in general, but I don't see how anyone can be expected to put up with this. I've had Chromebooks before, but never with a problem like this (or at all, actually).

So, it's difficult to rate this poor as many things about this Chromebook were excellent. But, the speakers! It's not just that they were poor as others have mentioned. I could overlook that. Low volume is one thing. But defective?!?One of them was crackling during the playback of conversational audio. Unacceptable at this price point and I even got it on sale! Sorry, had to go back!
