The in-store person selling this was no help and I didn't look at reviews. I bought this model not knowing much about it. It's alright for the price but I would not buy it again.

I am very pleased with my Acer monitor. It is everything I wanted, needed and expected. Been an Acer fan for years. Monitor did not disappoint me.

So after I got the computer screen home everything was alright and was just fine. And 3 days later here come the dead pixels

TV worked well for a few months and then gradually got worse and worse. We took it back for a new one, we had purchased the warranty, they agreed it wasn't working properly but said it would have to be sent in, which could take 3 to 4 weeks. Still no answer, but the 4 weeks are not up. Went down the road to purchase another TV (cheaper). Maybe they can fix this one. Maybe.

Purchased this screen and it hardly lasted a year without crapping our and having to be replaced

I returned my HP monitor for this one, and I was Glad i did! Pros: - Crisp Images - HDMI cable included - Does not flicker when watching HD videos - No need for stupid software that includes in every monitor, Your GPU does the work - Cool Screen, it wont hurt your eyes! -Has a stand! eye level! Cons: - Could be bigger its wider, not taller

The video quality was horrible on this monitor that I used at a second monitor to my Acer computer.

We hooked it up and saw a red vertical line going down the right third of the screen. We couldn't take it back to Best Buy so we had to call Acer who provided the address label to send it to for repairs. We needed a screen so we went back and purchased a HP monitor. I had an Acer computer/monitor once and it worked well for a long time.

I went by store recommendation. The display was out of reach to really check it out. I never thought that a company would create a monitor which height cannot be adjusted. Stupid really. My husband was comfortable with the height sho we swapped monitors. Simpler than going to the hassle of boxing it up and returning it.

like always these products a pain to get set up for the amateur

This is my first full hd monitor and all i can say is wow! You get full hd at 1080p, led ips and 3 inputs(vga hdmi and dvi) which are located on the back not the bottom making it easier to connect. As a bonus i had it shipped to my house FOR FREE and it arrived THE NEXT DAY. Also has a 3 year warranty. All for 129.99 plus tax.

I went to beat buy not expecting to buy this monitor but I did anyways because it seemed great on display. Brought it home and it works wonders. This monitor is clear and bright! I work from home and I have multiple things open all at the same time. I really love it. Thinking about getting a second one!

This isn't the most expensive monitor out there, and probably not the best. But, it's fantastic for the price. It is clear and sharp and meets every need of the average user -- one who uses mostly spreadsheets, word documents, and graphic presentations. You can't do better at this price.

I am a gamer myself and I love this monitor. looks great and response is amazing. you can't beat the price of the monitor. I honestly look at this monitor being high end just because of how well it has worked for me. Just buy it don't hesitate. you will be pleased!!!

I bought this monitor a few weeks ago and I LOVE it. Initially I had it hooked up using the VGA connector but my video card handles DVI and I have the cables to go DVI to HDMI, so I hooked it up that way and it looks great - although honestly I couldn't tell the difference between that and the VGA. Anyway, the picture is bright - almost too bright - but of course is customizable. What I like the most is I can change the resolution and the screen does not get blurry; I found the older flat-screens were horrible outside of their "native resolution" which was always too tiny for me (which is why I used CRTs for a long time - no native resolution problems and no blurriness at any size). It almost feels like I'm using a new computer, and for the price you really cannot go wrong with this monitor. Kudos to Acer for creating such a great-looking monitor at such an affordable price.

After MULTIPLE HOURS on the phone with Netgear technical support and Windstream, no one was ever able to get this to work with our Windstream DSL service. A total waste!

I'm not a videophile, so if you're searching reviews for color balancing and all that jazz, I'm not going to be much help. I bought this because it was the right size for my desk, full 1080p, and the panel is IPS. That part *was* important to me, because as a tall guy my viewing angle isn't always consistent. An IPS panel means that the screen and colors look correct from a much wider range of viewing angles than some other display panel technologies. To me, the colors and settings were just fine out of the box. I primarily play games on my PC with the usual web browsing and YouTube surfing. All of that looks great at 1920x1080. Easy to set up, no muss, no fuss. Good enough for me.

I'll start by saying I returned it. Why?!? Not the greatest for gaming. Which was it's sole purpose in my case. Casual gamers will be pleased, but hardcore competitive online gamers look else where. Lots of motion blur and ghosting. About as much as monitors of years past, so some may not mind, but others looking for a high performance screen with smooth motion look else where. It's image quality is outstanding I have to admit. Surprised me. Full 1080p. Colors are about as accurate as the average user is going to need. Bright panel with decent contrast, even though it's black levels weren't the deepest. Sharp clear picture with no negatives in the picture department. If I was judging it on picture quality alone over it's performance for gaming I'd still own it TBH. It does have a glossy screen so beware of screen reflections. Only one user setting for all the inputs. Audio out jack (for HDMI) volume even maxed out was sort of low, and if your using HDMi you'll be using the audio out since this panel doesn't have a speaker. If your using headphones it may be a problem, with external speakers it wont be. For the average PC user (text documents, web surfing, watching videos) at least in the picture department; can't speak of it's longevity, this is probably one of the nicest screens you can get above 22" for $150 or less. Good deal. Again, Acer surprised me. IPS panels produce rich color and great viewing angles, but your going to need a TN with their faster response times for a slight reduction in blur. I'm still searching for that panel with smooth motion for competitive gaming. Tv's that promise smooth motion also introduce lots of processing of the iamge which leads to input lag. Which is worst then motion blur. Dang shame LCD's killed Plasma Tv's. I may need to invest in a purpose built gaming monitor. At about twice this price with less picture quality...It's a shame with the give and take of LCDs. I miss Panasonic plasma's. =(

Horrible screen didn't even have it a year and the screen really lose and now you can't even see anything on it when you try to use computer

Had to return the first one after 2 weeks when the body of the screen went out. The replacement is still working now but is has only been 2 weeks.
