I bought mine when it wasn't onsale yet, but now I'm debating about a 2nd or even 2 more to go Eyefinity! This is a spectacular monitor, only about 7/16 of an inch of plastic between the outside edge of the monitor and the edge of the screen itself. beautiful colors. It has a glossy finish and I was worried stuff would reflect, especially my back lit keyboard but it doesn't because the angle I have the monitor I don't see it. If you plug it in and you get a black border about an inch wide around your screen, go into your video cards software settings (not sure about nvidia, but for ATI/AMD its Catalyst control center) and go to My digital flat panel > Scalling options and slide the slider to 0%. Again, this monitor is $150 bucks for a full HD 23 inch monitor BUY IT, DO IT NOW!

As soon as i bought it i returned it the next day. The monitor would keep going off everytime i turned it on.

This monitor is bright and super crisp and clear. I could not be happier. In fact, I've got a second one in my cart right now. A word about sound. I am using the HDMI input on the monitor from the HDMI output provided on my laptop (I'm using the monitor as a second screen.) When I plugged the monitor in, my laptop figured it was a TV and sent the sound there too silencing the laptop's bult in speakers. This monitor does not have speakers. But I had a little speaker system handy, so I plugged them into the audio output on the monitor and it all works fine. If you have an HDMI output on your computer and plan to use it with this monitor, I just wanted you to be aware of what I encountered. That being said, I love, love this monitor.

Very poor quality instructions and controls for the screen adjustments. I gave up and returned for an HP that is working perfect.

This monitor goes out once a day - the screen becomes fuzzy and I have to restart it at least once a day. I wouldn't recommend.

This monitor was on sale at the time it was purchased. It has a crystal clear display. It was very easy to set up. The only downside is, I can't get it go to into full screen. I still love it though.

I hate ac adapters and have never seen much good from Acer but I took a risk. The monitor looks fantastic and the resolution step up from 1600 x 900 to 1920 x 1080 looks so much better. Too keep the thin profile is why the power supply is external (ac adapter). Too if the power supply fails that is a plus, simply replace the AC Adapter. I was doubt full at first but you can tilt the monitor fowards or backwards and this is a pleasant suprise. Everything looks so much better. Because of the much higher resolution compared to my old LCD screen artifacts in videos are much more apparent also. Summary. I love this cheap fantastic looking monitor. I hope it lasts because I dont trust acer much.

These go one sale often for $130 or so and it is a very good monitor at that price point... in fact, I bought two so that I could have dual monitors that are identical. I have no complaints.

I will as using this Monitor but in 4 months the charger does not work, I have to claim the warranty.

purchased this as specs said you could walk mount. Specs were wrong. So had to return item. Such a waste of time

i got this as a gift, the monitor broken after a week of use. it never power on again. returned for store credit.

broken in 2 weeks after purchase (bright crack line on the LCD screen)

The monitor started getting a shaded area on the right half of the screen after 3 months usage. Not Happy!!!!

I bought two of this model. The display is very crisp, with great colors. However, one of the models had a little backlight bleed at the lower left corner, causing black to be bluish looking at the screen from a right-hand angle, but dark brownish when looking from a left-hand angle, which I was willing to cope with because the overall display seemed ok, looking directly at it. However, the second monitor had a very distinct and more spread-out bleed, also from the same corner, in addition to another backlight bleed from the top right corner--on a dark/black background, it looked like a washed up piece of denim. it also caused certain colors to show up faded or gray-ish. Moreover, there was a stuck pixel in the center of the screen that shows up only when u have a bright color image/window above it. While the image seemed sharp with good colors, it was ruined by the backlight bleeds. I've done some search on the reviews on multiple sites, and found out that a few people had similar problems--at least the ones who were really bothered by the bleeds. Of course, I had to return the second monitor for a full refund. It is a shame for Acer to have such good engineering wasted by bad quality. Acer should test every aspect of their monitors before shipping them out. Since the images are very sharp and crisp, with great colors, I wouldn't hesitate tor recommend it except for the backlight bleeds. I'm not really sure If I should recommend this monitor since both monitors I bought had similar but different-level problems. If you decide to buy this monitor, test it especially on a solid black background to see if there is a backlight bleed and decide whether you're willing to cope with it or return it back to the store within return policy period.

Well, my five year old ViewSonic bit the dust last week so I needed a replacement. First I tried going the cheap route, buying a $90 HP monitor at Office Depot. Bad decision. The color sucked no matter how much I played with the controls. I put that thing back in its box, returned it and headed over to Best Buy. I looked at the working display and saw it would be as good as my old VS. Brought it home, hooked it up to my Mac mini using the HDMI cable and popped in my DVD of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" to test it. Wow. It wasn't as good as my old VS. IT BLEW IT OUT OF THE FREAKING WATER!

Display went bad after 1 month. Best buy denied assisting me with this. Proceed with caution.

Scenario: I had just been paid! Eager, to spend my afternoons on my PC I decide that I truly do need another monitor for increased editing workflow whilst working on videos. I travel to the monitor section of my local Best Buy and decide to rummage through their wares. When suddenly. I see it. a 1080P monitor with an HDMI in (something none of my other monitors have since I wasn't smart enough to look for one.) and a lovely display. All for $99.99 ! Eager at the opportunity, I jumped and picked up this monitor. Wielding it victoriously as I walk out of the Best Buy having paid a little over $110 (for taxes!). Eager to start using my display, I removed one of my old and much less impressive monitors to be replaced by it. I plug it in. Turn it on, and voila! It's a monitor that does in fact display at 1080p! So, that must be good. After about a weeks use, I can confirm that the monitor is pretty great. If I have any issues with it, it's with those buttons alongside the bottom of the monitor that are for changing display settings! They can be very infuriating as it relies on your awareness of where your fingers are placed in correspondence to the UI. It's dumb. I don't like the way they're set up. At all. In terms of use in editing/gaming. I've had no issues with it. The monitor does it's job very well and looks a lot better in my room as opposed to the Best Buy display in store. On top of playing games on my PC. The HDMI in serves me wonders as I also use this monitor for streaming games from my Wii U primarily. As I have another monitor that I use to watch/respond to chat. This monitor quickly becomes my go to for playing games on. I've been playing a lot of Splatoon recently. It's pretty unhealthy I'm sure. Good display, no dead pixels, would pick up 4 more. 4/5. Would be perfect if those buttons weren't so annoying.

Great monitor that delivers a clear and crisp picture quality. The monitor brightness and overall contrast is fantastic, and gives a very vibrant and accurate picture. The slim bezels are fantastic too, so using it in a multiple monitor setup is very nice as there isn't much bezel space between the screens. Only real design flaw is the inability to adjust the height of the vertical stand, but the pros of this monitor hugley overwhelm any con it has. With DVI, HDMI, and VGA outputs as well, the monitor has a versatility for what you're able to plug into it. The monitor has no speakers, but as a gamer, I prefer actual seperate good quality speakers or a headset, so it's a non-issue. Great buy, and excellent monitor!

I have to say I'm impressed with this monitor. I;m only giving it 4 stars though since the first one I got had a single dead pixel up near the address bar. No biggie but I figured that since I bought the thing new it should have zero dead pixels. I took it back and the second one is perfect. Wow, talk about clarity when gaming. Mass Effect 2 looks alot better than it did on my previous Samsung monitor. One thing though is that its a bit reflective but when gaming I see no reflections at all so I'm good with it. For what I paid for it, it was definitely worth it.

i got it for 3 days..the screen keep flash for no reason. end up returned.
