This is one of the better looking monitors in this side range. I use it with my MacBook (with Apple's ridiculously expensive cable) and the picture is amazing. The color reproduction is spot on and text is solid. Videos and games look amazing. If you are looking for a 23" monitor you can't go wrong with this Acer. And the price of $109 can't be beat. Definitely recommend this monitor for personal or business use.

If you like gaming at 1080P this is the monitor for you. I have used it for xbox one and PC gaming and it handles both while looking great. Best monitor for the price.

Very good monitor for the price, great 1080p picture, very good quality build. I've spent far more on a monitor in the past that wasn't nearly the quality of this one.

The only reason I gave 4 stars was because there are no VESA mounts. This monitor has a very thin and smooth bezel so these would be great side by side. Very bright and good clarity. I'm using the DVI input and the picture quality is very good for the office applications I've been running - mostly Excel. I haven't tried watching videos or gaming so no comment there.

I caught this on sale for 103 8 months ago, haven't had a single issue with it, good picture, fast response, 3 connection types, good monitor for price.

I bought this on sale and jumped on it, the last time I bought an LCD was in 2008 and it served me well and eventually wanted a 16:9 1080p monitor since most content is made for that aspect ratio. Although I would have wanted built-in speakers (this seems to have some kind of pass-through for HDMI audio, but no speakers), I knew exactly what I was buying and I just wanted a monitor. First impression, it is really bright and the picture quality is much better than my older monitor. I dinged one star because it didn't come with a DVI-D cable despite having a DVI input. It only came with a VGA and a HDMI cable. Second, for another star, the monitor appears to have a plastic film on the top layer which looks to be removable if you look at the top edges, but I am certain it isn't removable because it won't budge. What I initially thought were dead or stuck pixels, there are three gray pixel sized spots I believe there is some kind of contamination perhaps in that layer. It won't clean off. I am still within the return/exchange period as of writing this review, they wouldn't be bothersome when watching a movie or playing a game but most of the time I am not and it really bothers me now that I know they are there. I really really really want to exchange it but I don't wanna be a hassle. I like the monitor itself, if Best Buy assures it would be sent back to the manufacturer to be refurbished and not end up as ewaste I might exchange it.

I use this monitor as a secondary to my macbook pro. I love that it has an HDMI port so it can be used for more than just a computer monitor. It was fantastically priced and the color and resolution remind me of a much more expensive option. It sits at a nice height and adjusts well to suit the needs of desk work. The size makes working on multiple applications a breeze. I would highly recommend.

After 13 months of ownership I'm still pleased with my purchase. Excellent picture for video and photo editing. Enjoy the sleek look of bezel.

This monitor is very sharp and clear i use it with my macbook air and it works greate i would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a monitor.

I originally bought two LG 22M33D monitors. They were 21.5" screens. Those monitors have some kind of dimming issue so I returned them and bought these instead. These were $40 more a piece, but COMPLETELY worth it! These are 23" screens which is actually a noticeable difference from the others. There is a gloss finish which makes these monitors super sleek looking. Most importantly, I could not color calibrate the other monitors, they were washed out and too bright or too dim... These are PERFECT right out of the box! I love them! CON: The glossy finish makes quite reflective in the blacks so if that will bother you, you may not want to buy them. I work in low light so it doesn't bother me at all.

The colors on the monitor are great! It sits next to an older monitor and the color and quality of this one are so much better!

was gonna do the tv to PC thing with hdmi. then saw this on sale for $99.00 saved me by half. TV would not have worked out anyways. too big no space. things that are noteworthy: NO DVI cable in my box, it was a sealed box. so you might need one. CAN NOT be wall or stand mounted, lack of vesa mounting holes in back will confirm this. D-sub and HDMI cable ARE included. monitor is thin and should be handled with some degree of care as all things these days if you drop it its probably gonna break.. the picture is clear and crisp with HDMI cable. screen is responsive and does not seem to lag. i use this on a linux box so what you get on a windows box may differ greatly. minus 1 due to no DVI cable. get one while the sale lasts !!!

I purchased this 23" monitor on sale for $129.99 primarily because of its wide-format screen size and the fact that it has an HDMI connection. After hooking it up I was very happy with the picture quality and the solid base. Its Energy Star rated and very light -weight. So happy with purchase I bought a second one for another computer.

Picture quality is great. Easy to switch between VGA and HDMI inputs if you connect two computers to this monitor. The audio output on the one I bought didn't work so I tried to return it to Best Buy. That's when I discovered that BEST BUYS DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON ACER PRODUCTS. THEY GIVE YOU A 800 NUMBER AT ACER TO CALL ONLY TO DISCOVER THAT ACER WILL REPAIR OR REPLACE THE MONITOR BUT ALSO WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND !!!!!!!

Solid monitor, decent picture, relatively easy to setup

I generally stay away from glass panel monitors, but I was in the market for another 1080p 23 inch monitor and the price was attractive, so I purchased it. It was a great choice. Thoroughly pleased with the monitor. Colors are vivid. Brightness is very bright. I use it on my computer as well as my PS4, so the audio out is priceless as well. 3 Inputs. The monitor is super slim and definitely attractive on a desk. My only con with this monitor is that, at least to me, and only on certain images, the sharpness is just SLIGHTLY below my other one. Also, the frame is about 2/5 to 1/2 an inch on each side. Definitely a good monitor to consider for a triple monitor set up, just no brackets for frames. But there are so many pros. Images are beautiful. Text is even better. Such a joy to read on. Volume control. Everything you could ask and more for the price.

The colors and resolution are pretty nice. Bought 2 for a friend's config and he seems very happy about it.

Great monitor / size for the price... very pretty and nice picture!

Got this to upgrade from a 19 inch LCD.. boy what a differnce this makes!! Clean, crisp quality with HDMI setup.. My games are brighter and more detailed. Only issue is the glare which is somewhat annoying but is not a deal breaker and the option button placement is frustrating. Overall satisfied with this monitor for the price.
