I purchased this monitor to act as one of three connected to my home system and could not possibly be more pleased. I spent over a week searching the 'Net and had visited the Best Buy store several times before purchasing this particular one. The colors are bright and sharp and the resolution is crystal clear. It is easy on the eyes and DVD's are very vivid giving it an almost Blu-Ray picture.

This monitor has a very sharp display. And perfect size for my desk.

I purchased this monitor today, great quality however the specs are misleading, states YES for being anti Glare and YES for wall mountable. When watching a video I get reflective glare of myself and from items behind me and as far as being wall mountable does not have the usual 4 screw holes. If did not get the glare and was able to mount this monitor I given it 4-5 stars as would require a special hardware so cannot mount this on a swing arm mount

Bought monitor at beginning of March, liked it a lot until today, when it suddenly dimmed, especially in the lower corners. After I left it off about 15 minutes, it returned to normal for a while, then same thing happened after about an hour. Left it off several hours, worked a while, then same thing. Geek Squad suggested it might be backlight going bad and that I should contact Acer ASAP. Did that and learned that I need to ship it to them in Texas, at my expense, preferably via UPS or Fedex, with 3-5" bubblewrap padding, then wait 7-10 days for repair. Tried to get some troubleshooting on their site to avoid this if something else is wrong, but they'd charge $28. I'm not at all happy with this, since sending it for repair -- under warranty! -- will cost about a quarter of the price of a new monitor. Will get it fixed, but won't buy Acer again with this kind of warranty policy.

What i love - easy to set up. large screen. After setting up, I have had nothing but problems with the H236Hl. For no reason the screen goes Green or blue and I have to shut down to get the screen to come back on. Taking this back and swapping for anything but an ACER It seems to only work for about 1 hour then I have to do a reboot.

Good price. The screen adjustable function is not easy to choose the setting. After I adjusted the bright level to 50%, The screen is till too bright for me.

I bought this monitor as a gift for someone. It is a very nice monitor however it didn't work size wise for the space we were using, so it was returned.

Brand new, not even 10 days old, I get a dead pixel. I tried a few things, algorithm and whatnot, but it didn't work. The bottom left corner has some amazingly awful back light bleed, any screen that isn't white or a shade of white, you'll see it bleeding through pretty fiercely. The monitor is extremely bright, so you might want to turn it down a bit, unless you're in a very bright setting constantly. Aside from those grave annoyances, the color is pretty good and no major problems. Although, having a dead pixel near the center of the screen is incredibly frustrating. Doing a lot of stuff that involves darkening of the screen, results in frustration because of the bleeding being so bright and profuse. Alas, nothing bad enough to return it for, as the policy covers 6-8 pixels to be dead or have physical damage.

The specifications for this monitor claim it can be mounted to a wall. This is not the case. There aren't any holes on the back to attach a wall mount to. Also, the built-in speakers require a separate audio cable that runs from the computer to the monitor and it isn't included in the box.

This monitor is great quality and has an extremely crisp picture. We love it for gaming and just to watch movies as well. Doesn't produce much heat and my wife is even impressed.

Can't complain for the price I got (100 bucks) BB Helper didn't know whether cables r included or not HDMI cable and VGI cable was included (DVI was not) I used it for mostly intensive games, and I don't have a single issue.

This monitor is really good. I love how it is 60hz and how it is 1080p. It is nothing special but it is awesome for a budget monitor. I got it on sale for $109. My only problem with this product is that it doesn't have built in speakers. But besides that it is an awesome budget monitor. 4 Starts

I tried all the screens in the ips 23" realm. I even tried the dell that was $250. Top choice was not this screen. The lenovo 23" ips to me was better. The backlit bleeding was more noticeable on this product and the colors was not as bright but this screen came a close second. Oyeah im a elite plus member just to lazy to grab number from wallet. For what that is worth i dont know...

My mother-in-law needed a replacement for a smaller monitor. This one fit the bill nicely. Good price and good quality display. Connected it to the Intel NUC that I built for her.

This Acer monitor provides a good, quality picture. I'm an accountant and just purchased this during my busy tax season and it made working long hours somewhat tolerable.

Bought this when it was on sale. It's a great HD monitor for the price. The picture quality is very good and it has a very sleek design. I'm pleased with my purchase.

I bought this monitor because according to the Besbuy's specification it has built-in speakers. Turned out the monitor has only the audio output for headphones but no speakers at all. Meanwhile the monitor has an excellent picture but awkward control. I has returned the monitor to the store and replaced it with the Dell monitor with really internal speakers.

I bought this on sale to replace a dying LCD that was on it's last legs. Very happy with this monitor for home computer. Great color and detail. Only minus for me is the glossy screen. I wish it was non-glare but I can live with it.
