I wanted a good gamimg laptop. I was told in store it was a low tier gamimg laptop to break into pc gamimg. So far I've updated the harddrive to a 2tb HDD and the ram to 2 16GB ram cards. I love this laptop. However when you play certain games it does lag for a couple of seconds but then works again just fine

Great laptop. Looks awesome. Isn't crazy heavy so you can easily carry it around. Boots up crazy fast and just an all round efficient machine. Gaming wise the panel is honestly underestimated. You aren't getting 144 Hz but it is a fantastic display to play on so you won't feel too left out. Very happy with the purchase

Very happy across the board with this laptop performance and build, lightning quick and build quality is top not. Really the only negative thing I could say is the contour of the front of the laptop. The sharp angles really should be rounded, upon resting your palms on the keyboard for any period of time the edges start to dig into your wrists.

Purchased this laptop to serve as my work from home centerpiece. Ended up needing more RAM to support multiple remote connections, however, this has performed flawlessly otherwise. Monitor and track pad are ok, but not something I jump for joy over. Overall, this handles everything I throw at it and was a great value.

Overall this is a decent laptop for $700+ but the battery is absolutely terrible. Doesn’t last me more than 3-4 hours and that’s without gaming, whenever I play a game such as counter strike, the battery doesn’t last more than 2-3 hours. And unfortunately I can’t even make a return because I bought this laptop in order to work from france for a month and a half and there’s only a one month return policy. For spending close to 800 I’d be hoping that the battery would at least work. Also something I’ve noticed is that the speakers hardly work and the brightness is also bad too, I hate dark screens and even with maximum brightness it’s still dark.

I had to retire my 10 yr old Asus rog laptop, and I don't need a powerhouse replacement. Acer Nitro 5 seemed like a good mid range at a really good price. I upgraded the ram to 16GB, and added an additional 1TB of hdd. I've been playing Skyrim and working in Photoshop. Nice design, and light. Overall, it's been good!

I bought this for my kid to upgrade his regular laptop with one that can handle games without lag or crashing, and it more than delivers. You can't really compare this to ones that cost at least three times as much, so for us this was a five-star purchase.

Hands down best purchase of a laptop thus far. This CPU is the BEST bang for your buck and beats even higher end intel processors in many categories. You won’t be disappointed!

I love the laptop, at the time it was the best bang for your buck. The backlit keyboard came in handy for studying at night, and is adjustable with keyboard commands. I like how upgradable the laptop is with a second memory slot and space for ssd. Get it.

Although I'm not a gamer, I wanted a computer that could handle streaming video without difficulty. So far, this fits the bill very well. Fast, quiet, and charges quickly. Doesn't seem to get too heated either. Screen is a nice size and I like the red backlighting on the keys.

This is a wonderful machine and can do everything I need it to do. The only downside is the storage and ram. Although both are easily upgradable.

Great performance at a good price. Few things worth mentioning: the power connector comes loose easily, it can get quite hot while gaming, AC adapter failed after a month so I purchased an aftermarket one.

This was a great starter for gaming. I was able to run WoW, Minecraft, Final Fantasy and other games with no issues. Would definitely recommend. Currently upgrading to a PC now but even a year old and this laptop still works good

I did quite some research before buying this and I am not disappointed. It is difficult to find a laptop this powerful at this price point. My only complaint is that the trackpad is not as responsive as some of the other laptops that I have used and is also noisy, when you click.

My new laptop came with spectacular specs. I can now play games with greater experience. I also did upgrade my laptop, which gave me more slots to fill up. I’m very happy that I got a good laptop to start with!

This was is the first gaming laptop that i have purchased. I play most of my games on console but this is a great entry into pc gaming. I made few upgrades which cost around $150, now the laptop is just as good if not better then more expensive ones.

Laptop is amazing. Works perfectly for all types of gaming. Easy set up and downloading. Very fast start ups on all applications. If you plan on doing heavy gaming I would suggest buying an external hard drive for more memory. Other that it is an awesome product!

Absolutely perfect! Super fast, the keyboard lights up so it is easy for me to use at night without needing to turn the lights on. The screen has a gorgeous picture. I do not game but I do design and this laptop is perfect for what I needed.

I'm in that bind in life where I don't have $ to spend on a gaming laptop, and I don't have the space or time to build and set up a new PC. This has given me solid gaming performance without breaking the bank. I can even livestream my games with good results.
