Functions well but bad quality materials
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this laptop for 5 months and the keyboard is already showing significant signs of wear. The paint/ink is wearing off some of the keys. For example, the letter "A" key has barely any black left on it. Now it just looks red. I have never seen this happen to a keyboard before. Acer, I expect more from you.

Wouldn't turn on

We got it home and charged it, the charge light wouldn't even light. This was a brand new computer and wouldn't turn on. I contacted Acer for support to try all of their techniques to no avail. Do not recommend.

Trash
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This whole brand is trash. Every laptop I've ever gotten from them has died quickly. I don't know why I thought this one would be any better. This laptop died after one year of use. It would turn on but the screen was black and even when connected to an external monitor nothing. I took it to best buy and they couldn't do anything about it either and it died literally days outside of the warranty. A waste of money. I wasn't going to spend an arm and a leg to fix trash. Never had this happen with any other brand of laptop just ACER. Complete and utter trash.

Didn’t turn on
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was my first time buying a laptop from the acer brand and to say the least, I’m very disappointed in my purchase. I loved everything about how this laptop sounded and bought it as fast as I could only to return home and find that it wouldn’t turn on upon plugging it in. Not even the charging light worked. I saw the other reviews saying this, but I just figured they were just really unlucky and it wouldn’t happen to me but it did. Keep this in mind.

Stay away

He used it for one evening and the next day none of the downloaded software would launch. Went through restarts and reboots, tried everything short of a complete uninstall of the games. Returning and moving on
