This computer is really fast, but the speed increases substantially when you upgrade the ram to dual channel. Dual channel means that the two memory sticks can be accessed at the same time. This means that the memory can be accessed almost twice as fast. This affect most aspects of the computer speeding up everything that uses ram. Only downside of the laptop is that bottom cover scratches pretty easily.

This is the best budget gaming laptop on the market. Was waiting to purchase it when I could pick it up in store and not have it delivered. Well worth the wait. Runs Sims 4 flawlessly. I cannot get over how smooth and quick ever runs on this. The cheapest way to get this bad boy is at BestBuy, everywhere reputable is $100 to $250 mark-up.

It is a great computer. Everything works well and the speed is great. Also has fans on the bottom which is great for gamers.

I make digital art but also game so I was looking for a good gaming laptop. I was recommended this brand and I was not disappointed! I love this thing. I can play GTA V with no issues and I can make my drawings 600dpi and more without lagging my computer. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a powerful laptop. Also, the picture on it is really good thanks to the graphics card. It's perfect for what I wanted it for.

Super gaming computer. Cool graphics, display, setting options. The battery life seems to perform less than the specifications.

Bought this for my son (10 years old) as he is an avid gamer and a youtuber. This PC is a great deal and good value for the price. The AMD Ryzen 5 does its job very well and the graphics is adequate to play Fortnite and do Youtube video editing. 3 regular USB and 1 USB-C port might not be enough if you need to connect additional accessories (gaming keyboard/mouse/additional cooling fans etc...) and might need an external USB hub. Otherwise a very good laptop for the price.

Very good power for the price. Has performed well with every game I've tried on it (I'm not into FPS' or MOBAs so take that for what it's worth). Clearly deigned by people who understand what other laptops do wrong when it comes to gamming and mostly corrects them. Construction feels solid and temperature seems to regulate very well. Ultimately I would say that this isn't a "budget" gaming laptop but a "value" gaming laptop.

Great budget gaming laptop. This Nitro 5 isn't the most powerful laptop out there by any means but it is hard to beat these specs at this price. Build is all plastic but feels sturdy enough with the 2020 update bringing significantly improved cooling which is definitely a welcome change. Memory and storage are both easily upgradable as well.

Works really well as my gaming and school PC. Had it for 8 months and haven't had any major issues. Camera quality is good, and the games I run work really well. Issues I had: Screen is still a bit too dark for my liking when it's at 100%, Storage runs out fast so highly recommend getting an extra SSD Overall highly recommend if you want an affordable gaming laptop or one that can handle online Zoom Meetings

Absolutely love this laptop! It is powerful enough to play my games, yet easy to take on the road. I honestly thought the screen size would be an issue, but I dont even notice it now. There is plenty of space to download my games and mods, but I will be adding another SSD or HDD later. If I had to say one negative, it would be I wish I could keep the keys lit up while it was on. However that is not a big issue.
