My wife and kids enjoy this laptop. It's used for school, Netflix, YouTube, games and other stuff. It's not abused in usage at all. I researched it like I usually do with all high dollar stuff I buy and found this to be a great purchase, I'm considering another one as a matter a fact for my teenage son for his school and games; his other one is a decade old almost. Anyways I'm happy with it.

I have been using this laptop like crazy and have had zero issues. Runs super fast and smooth. Very happy with my purchase but I did not get my free trand micro and customer service has done nothing to assist but give me the runaround. I was at one point transferred 6 times during a call and then on the final transfer request was told I would need to wait almost an hour for the next agent, I hung up.

I have had this laptop for 11 months so far, and I am overall loving this computer! Pros: Processor is fast and nippy. Space inside for hardware upgrades. Graphics card plays well for the sims 4 :) Charger located on the back - does not interfere. Cons: Not enough SSD storage. Heavy-ish (some people may not mind this). Don't like the placement of trackpad, too far left - for me.

I've had the Acer Nitro 5 laptop for a few weeks now, and for the most part it gets the job done! I've never had a gaming computer before this laptop and everything is very easy to understand within the actual hardware. Being able to expand the HDD/SSD drives is a big bonus as well if you want to try running some more intensive games. The only complaint I've had so far is the size of the display is a lot smaller than I was expecting, especially compared to my previous HP Pavillion laptop. It also lacks a DVD drive which I wasn't aware of before I purchased it, so keep that in mind! Overall if you want to start getting into PC gaming for a relatively cheap price I can definitely recommend trying the Acer Nitro 5.

Actually solid gaming laptop for its price. Lasted me a little over a year and just recently upgrade to full pc, It can compete with normal pcs but gpu and cpu are on the low side. Definitely need another stick of ram. Mine started acting funky and was time for upgrade.

The keyboard isn't as user friendly as I'm used to but that's workable (I have a USB keyboard if I really need it). Downloads quickly, scans quickly, no issues yet. It's a lot lighter weight than expected. More review updates as I have more experience with this model.

We looked and bought same day. My son got surprised and he liked so much than new ipad, he thought to have. It has perfect screen size and colorful keypad to look impressive.

I would have given this review 5 stars if it was working right out of the box. Had a few problems I had to troubleshoot but afterwords it worked just fine. The only issue have with it is the battery life, if your trying to play games like CSGO or call of duty it drains the battery after about an hour. I tend to keep mine plugged in while gaming so battery life isn't an issue. Overall great laptop for the price.

It's a nice starting out gaming computer i bought it for my son (12) he likes it alot he takes it with him everywhere we go connects to any wifi with ease the only issue i have or better yet my son has with it is the battery life he gets about a good 2.5-3 hours worth of intense gaming out of it. If the battery was better i would gladly give this thing a 5 star review.

Laptop arrived ahead of schedule. It's very quick and I have had zero issues with it so far. When you go to plug it in the first time make sure you push the charging cable in all way. I think that is why you see other reviews stating theirs wouldn't power on when they first received it.

Runs fast, runs cool. Can be expanded to 64GB of memory. Has 2 M.2 NVMe slots (one occupied) and one SATA 3 2.5" bay. I've only played WarThunder on it so far. The Nvidia GTX 1650 GPU does 60 Fps on WarThunder and stays cool. You will want to calibrate the LCD. I've read reviews where the LCD is criticized. To my eyes it looks fine. The Intel AX200 (WiFi6) wireless card connects to my Linksys WRT1200AC router (running DD-WRT firmware) on 5 GHz channels with no problems. I don't have the capability to run 160 MHz channels so I'll have to take Acer and Intel's word for WiFi6 compatibility. Buy if you can find it; I bought one for my son for Christmas and it was 4 weeks before BestBuy restocked them and I was able to pick up another for myself. As of 2/12 I see they are still sold out again. I guess the word is out about them. For under $700, it's a steal for a gaming laptop. Recommended.

We purchased an Intel one for our daughter (12) and when this Ryzen went on sale we bought another one for our son (8). For the 600-700 price point this is an amazing computer that will last them quite some time as it is easy to upgrade with memory and ssd later. It is not small and light but the kids love the gaming look. Highly recommended.

We purchased this for our youngest child to use while doing remote learning. It has worked great for Zoom seminars. The speakers had stopped working at one time, but all we had to do was update the driver and we’re back in business. The camera quality is excellent!
