First PC ever, always been a Mac user. I wanted to finally play good games on PC. This laptop is perfect, it can handle every game I can think of and has room for upgrades later on.

This one of the best gaming laptops i have bought that is under 1,000 dollars. It has great handling speed when combined with a decent gaming mouse or controller.

No issues so far. Seems to adequately handle all our needs. Nice size, weight and red backlighting.

This laptop is a beast at it's price. It plays every game that I throw at it flawlessly. The only real downside is that it's pretty big and bulky. But would highly recommend

Cost was only $599. Speed is incredible! The Graphics are unspeakable! Plenty of Hard Drive space. The key board lights up in Red. The only down side is there's no dvd-rom.

Birthday present for my daughter and she absolutely loved it. Great for gaming, very responsive, loads of power and Acer has great customer service.

Before this, I had a very crappy laptop that barely functioned well. The speed on this is almost nothing compared to this. And the runtime for playing videogames is exceptional.

The Acer Nitro fills a very important role in the mid level gaming category that I feel is desperately needed at this time in the PC gaming market. With a good price point and great price per performance this is a great laptop for anyone looking to get into PC gaming or anyone who wants an all around good PC gaming laptop. The GTX 1050 card that is integrated into the laptop is still a very capable card in this day and age and can play most games on high to ultra depending on the age of the game and the required hardware specs for higher settings. The IPS monitor ensures good screen visibility from almost any angle and looks amazing. The 1TB hard drive seems slow in comparison to todays SSD's on most laptops but for a gaming PC meant to hold several games I can see the reason for going with a larger more traditional hard drive at this price point. Overall this laptop is a great performing laptop and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good mid level gaming PC.

Great laptop for daily use and gaming . Got as a gift for my little brother . He loves it , still works like a champ till today .

This laptop is great for solid gaming (recent titles at high settings) and awesome for productivity (office processing apps and browsing several tabs and windows at once).

The Acer Nitro 5 AN515-53-52FA is an entry level gaming laptop that is a great value. So far I am very impressed with the laptop and so is my gaming addict son. In general, everything "just works" in this laptop and it is impressive. I like the aesthetics of the laptop. It has the look of a gaming laptop without going overboard in gaudy trims and lights that just distract. The case/chassis is very solidly built and has the look of brushed aluminum, despite being plastic. It doesn't feel like plastic at all. The keyboard is red backlit which is nice, although I wish it was customizable. You can't dim the backlight or change the color. You can turn off the backlight, but it's quite hard to read the keys without the backlight on. The cooling fans work well and are quieter than other laptops I have owned. Even while intense gaming, the fans didn't get overly loud. Acer includes a utility to allow the user to control the speed of the fans. I am quite impressed with the screen. The viewing angles are great and it is clear and bright. The sound quality of the speaker is good for a laptop, but don't expect much from the built in speakers. The battery life is just OK. It lasted about 3.5hrs while doing basic tasks and with the screen on full brightness. This isn't a mobile notebook and is meant to be plugged in most of the time. Where this laptop really shines is the processor and graphics GPU. Game play, video recording and rendering are awesome! My son was playing Minecraft at like 140 fps and the video was smooth and stable. Rendering videos took far less time than on our previous laptop. I also appreciate that Acer did not pack the laptop with unnecessary programs and ads. It comes with a few useful utilities. The weak spots in this laptop are: 1. Not enough memory. 8GB is fine, but it can be expanded to 32GB. 2. 7200rpm HDD. Actually I was pleased with the performance of the HDD, but it's still a HDD. Replacing with a SSD will make this laptop scream. I highly recommend this laptop.

I bought this PC to run Adobe Acrobat, Word and Excel for work. I work for an architectural print company and this assembles multiple, large file architectural files without an issue. I have noticed some lag on the PC though. It does boot up slow and I have had to do a lot of Control-Alt-Delete to end tasks that have been hanging. Not too much bloatware either. Overall, pretty good PC.

I like this gaming laptop, value for money. It is good to play first person shooting games. Speed is just about the right if not super fast.

Bought for my 13 yr old son. Uses it daily for gaming. He’s very happy with it. Only wishes battery would last longer than 4hrs, not that he should be on it longer.

This is a decent computer for the price. Nothing fancy, but you can do basic things.

Bought on sale for $650 and it is a all I could ever want. I dont hardcore game so I didnt need anything super powerful. This can pretty much play any game I want on it

im happy with this pc its fast and website load fast but not happy with the price a pay

Great graphic and good FPS loading screens are bit longer but great for the price.
