Got this for my son, he's been playing most new games at 60fps or above with no problems. The HDD makes bootup a little slow, but at the price it's affordable and easy to put an SSD in there.

Great gaming laptop for the price, easy to use and handles most games I throw at it.

I don't know how much credit my review can really get since I planned to and immediately replaced the mechanical drive in it with a solid drive, but it works great...aside from the cooling fan. (I had to go to settings and add a limit to how much RAM the computer can be pumping out at once in order to prevent overheating...even if I am just leaving the computer on at night, not running anything intensive. Thankfully this took a simple google search and was easy to do.)

Great Price. You will not find a better price anywhere else. I have a gaming desktop and this is definitely replacing it. Flawless design. AND AND AND It is OCULUS VR READY ! How cool is that !

This laptop was a gift for my sister for Christmas. She uses it for digital art and gaming. It runs Overwatch and Destiny 2 with zero issues. Extremely satisfied with this purchase!

Great device. There is an empty ssd connection that you can easily install. After reinstalling Win 10 on the SSD, this computer is blazing fast, 60 fps on LOL and Skyrim.

It has always blown my mind how my MacBook Pro for work is so powerful and so fast, but yet gaming on it is a total waste of time. I bought this Acer so I could play RTS games and it has not disappointed. It does run slow, but all windows based machines do, unless your paying way more than you need too. But this Acer is perfect for the beginner gamer or weekend warrior like me. I would buy an Acer Nitro again in the future.

I bought this on Black Friday for $519. Laptop looks great-from aggressive exterior, backlit keys, HD screen. Laptop is fast and runs games well. Overall a great value.

I purchased a HP laptop first on sale in Black Friday. I paid $199.99 plus tax. Yeah it was a good deal but guess what! It was crap. Anyways long story short I returned it and and started looking online and the Acer Nitro 5 just popped out. Saw that it was a gaming laptop. Read all the details and liked what I read. Next day I went and bought it at my local Best Buy store. The laptop was 100% better. It’s got a faster processor and responds to everything so quick. Love it. It’s not the top of the line gaming laptop but for school and some light games it does the job good. I definitely recommend it.

The computer was purchased for my niece on sale for around 600.00. This was an excellent value. The computer is a high-quality gaming computer with decent gaming capabilities and quick performance with standard tasks. The main reason I purchased this computer is that the build quality is greater than similarly priced laptops. It is quiet and responsive, which was all that was needed. If you plan to run games on full graphics settings you might want to go with something significantly more expensive, but this computer performs well and is capable of handling recent games with moderate settings.

Like this computer, the graphics are great, but a tad bit slow on the processor. Like the light up key board, so I can see the keys.
