Very disappointed

Purchased this laptop 2 years ago (8th Gen) and within the first year had to take back to best buy to replace the keyboard under warranty, thankfully! but still hade to wait 2 weeks as they had to send it out for the repair. Now it's 2 years later and the hinges broke without knowing, it was internal so you know & it ended up damaging the screen.

Do not buy with the Oculus Rift S - Incompatible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop bundled with the Oculus Rift as a Black Friday special for around $900. Somebody didn't do their homework on this bundle. The two devices are 100% incompatible. When I called in to point out the issue to Geek Squad, they confirmed the error and tried to upsell me on a $1800 Razer-Blade laptop. He says it is the cheapest laptop that is compatible with the Rift S. What a MAJOR difference. I spent a grand on the package and now they want me to upgrade to a laptop that costs $1200 more?!? Customer service was awful. Zero responsibility for the mistake they made. Transferred me to Best Buy supervisor who said there was nothing they could do and she then did not want to assist me in finding a compatible headset. I wasn't expecting a free $1800 laptop, just a compatible headset.

No sound, makes weird noises
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this laptop yesterday, turned it on, no audio was playing, at all. Every time audio is suppose to be played, it just makes a weird noise like someone tapping the toes against the wall. It also makes a static sound every time I turn it on. Very disappointed, i’ve Been wanting this laptop for so long but it ended up being like this brand new fresh out of the box
