Even if it did work and you wanted play with a g sync monitor you wouldnt be able to cause theres no displayport.

Hard drive failed after 2 days
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First the audio went out, then I did an update and crashed, it showed bad sectors on hdd, stuck on a loop of trying to load, they did replace it though since it was within the 14 days

good laptop

A Great First Gaming Setup

In the 3+ years Ive owned this I've ever only had 1 issue with the fans which were very easy to replace. If you're looking to start getting into PC gaming and need to operate on a budget you cant get better than this

Garbage!

Very good, apart from two things.

I only have two complaints, number one is that I think the fans gave me permanent hearing loss, and number two is the preinstalled Norton antivirus, it's almost as bad as McAfee (quite bottom of the barrel). However, I was able to get rid of it with the Norton uninstall tool, which I was very proud of. I have upgraded it with a 512 GB HDD and and additional 8 GBs of RAM. Overall, 10/10 if you're good at computers, otherwise, 9/10.

The Intel constantly poking and prodding you to update drivers that then don't download off their site or you have to download multiple times gets annoying as those happen every other hour. Sometimes it will pull you out of a video game and show you the alert. It had an issue where it would auto adjust the brightness and you couldn't do a single thing about it because that was also with Intel's own controls. Couldn't do a thing to stop it. It was so highly annoying for 3 years having to put up with it or find some workaround until I guess finally they put in an update allowing people to turn that off. Other than that, games ran fine. I could play Destiny 2 just fine on there but lately haven't been able to as it feels like the game has become too much for the laptop
