This laptop is the best bang for your buck. Everything is super fast. The only major upgrades you need to make is a hard drive and adding atleast 8gb more ram.

Really great price for what you get. Have been using this for over 2 months and it is a really good all around gaming laptop for the price.

Excellent cheap budget gaming laptop. For the price it works and it definitely a capable machine but you can certainly feel the compromises from the cheap plastic feeling shell and the screen. Overall for what you get I would still recommend it on sale, everything else was great. The 10300hq is a powerful cpu although a little warm and the 1650 can definitely handle 1080p gaming in most games. The keyboard lighting was awesome and dimmable. The outside does have a gamer aesthetic to it more than I would like but it's not too bad.

I bought the Acer Nitro 5 for my son for Christmas. Great laptop for the money. Especially for my kid who has been languishing on my 8-years old HP Envy for the past 2 years. Now he has a brand new machine and i'm super jealous. For gaming as well as creating graphics and editing his own videos, the Acer Nitro has had no problem keeping up. I love the red backlit keys along with the overall design. Feels weighty and solid which is good because I don't want him running all over the house with it.

Excellent speed for gaming with no complaints from the teenager. It has a sleek design, lit keyboard and serves our on the go needs!

Battery lasts about 3 hours and has a tablet option but is not touch screen so not sure why it's even there. Great gaming laptop overall for the price

I was previously using an asus laptop that was fairly good for just surfing the web. However I wanted something stronger and more powerful, as well as faster for gaming! I didn’t want to buy a whole gaming set up yet, and I mostly play Overwatch, and LET ME TELL YOU - this computer is PHENOMENAL and I highly suggest it for anyone! Even for gamers with full set ups that want something more moveable for casual travel gaming! I play Overwatch on the highest graphics settings, and I get a strong 160 FPS! It’s an incredible laptop! Opening up a page in google takes about .3 seconds! And the startup speed is only about 5 seconds for this computer!

This laptop is for my som. He loves it! He use it mainly for gaming. It’s fast and so far very reliable. I haven’t use a windows computer for a while now. But this is very impressive for me. They’ve come a very long way. Very responsive. We have this for over a month now. So far, very satisfied in this buy.

This is a great start up gaming computer for the price. Runs pretty well in games. The only thing would be, it needs a bit more space for games.

I have only had for about 3 weeks so far this is one of the best laptops i have owned. the software that acer provides is not bothersome like other manufactures put on their computers (bloatware). setup was super easy and registering for the warranty was super fast the lighted red keyboard is very easy to use and i really like the red back light. Performance wise i have no complaints. I'm using a acer sa230 24inch monitor along with the laptop screen and i have not at any video lag. So far so good

Truly a great laptop - runs great, stays cool, has the power to run anything you need. Only wish is if it had a full RGB keyboard - and if the NitroSense button was placed differently, as it makes the keypad non-standard.
