Purchased on Feb 16, 2026. Worked well up until Mar 17, 2026, when horizontal lines and artifacting appeared on the lower 40% of the panel. Naturally, this is just a little after the return policy and thus far I can't get ahold of an actual person at Acer Support. I've updated the monitor driver, tried different cables (DP, HDMI), and multiple devices (main PC with RX 9070 XT, work MacBook Pro laptop), but nothing makes a difference. Horrible product quality and very frustrating to have it happen so shortly outside the return policy and with non-responsive support from Acer.

The Acer Nitro ED340CUR 34" curved ultrawide is an excellent value gaming monitor if you want immersive 21:9 gameplay, smooth high refresh, and strong contrast without spending crazy money. It shines in fast games and multitasking, but cuts a few corners in brightness, stand adjustability, and HDR quality. ​ Display and immersion The 34" 1500R curved VA panel at 3440 x 1440 (UWQHD) gives a wide, cinematic view that feels very immersive in racing games, shooters, and open-world titles. ​ VA tech delivers deep blacks and high contrast, so dark scenes in games and movies look more punchy than on many IPS budget monitors, though viewing angles are a bit narrower. ​ Gaming performance With up to around 120–180 Hz models in this Nitro ED340C family, 1 ms response, and AMD FreeSync Premium, motion looks smooth and tearing is greatly reduced when paired with a decent GPU. ​ ​ The 21:9 aspect ratio gives you more horizontal field of view, which feels great in competitive shooters and driving games and also lets you see more of your workspace in productivity apps. ​ ​ HDR and picture quality The monitor supports HDR10, so it can accept HDR signals, but brightness is on the modest side and HDR is more “nice extra” than true high-end HDR experience. ​ Out-of-box color is generally good for gaming and everyday use, with sRGB coverage suitable for light content creation, though serious color-critical work would still favor a higher-end calibrated display. ​ Design, stand, and connectivity The curved “Nitro” design looks clean on a gaming desk, with slim bezels and a gamer-friendly aesthetic that fits well in an ultrawide setup.

The Acer Nitro ED340CUR has been an awesome upgrade to my setup. The 34” ultrawide curved display makes games feel more immersive, and the colors look vibrant right out of the box. The high refresh rate keeps everything smooth, and the curve adds a great sense of depth without being overwhelming. Setup was simple, the build quality is solid, and it delivers great performance for the price. Definitely a monitor I’d recommend to any gamer looking to level up their experience.

This monitor is amazing! Vibrant colors and HDR is really good! When I first saw this monitor on sale I was very astonished and at the sam time very skeptical because there where no reviews ANYWHERE online about this specific model, I even had to call Acer customer service to confirm this model number existed and yes it exists. So after confirming I went and bought it, set it up played. Pro tip by all means do not use windows auto HDR use the monitors HDR it much better, I learned the hard way and almost returned the display. I had to just disable windows HDR. Refresh rate is on point, colors are on point, and the built in speakers are not that bad at all. For the price I got the monitor for I feel like I won, nothing beats 4K, 200hz, HDR, and built in speakers, and a curved display!

This is a great monitor. I use it for my everyday business. Great quality and so much more room for me to view various open windows. The color quality is very good, too. I added a second monitor and now . . . WOW. I recommend this project that is affordable at a great price for everyone.

I particularly like the curved view of this monitor. It's much easier to view multiple screens when viewing/editing documents. The colors are vibrant and the refresh rate is superb.

The Acer Nitro ED340CUR 34” Gaming Monitor has exceeded all my expectations. I picked it up during Black Friday, and it has been an incredible upgrade.
