A: If the HDMI ports work with a gaming console or connected to a laptop/PC, this would indicate the port hardware is functioning properly. A: I tried dual monitor and just didnt like the angles or the middle gap. I use it for gaming and this curve and picture are amazing. If you multitask more than game then dual maybe the way to go. But for gaming single screen at this ratio is great.
Q: What is monitor height with OUT the stand?
A: It's perfect for a desk without handing off. It's stable even on the elevated gaming desks 8 inch wide shelf.
A: Unfortunately it does not come with a remote. However there is a button behind the monitor on the right side making it user friendly to toggle through different settings.
A: If the mount is designed for monitors up to 32", then it wouldn't be recommended that you use that mount with a 34" monitor.

Acer Nitro
This monitor was perfect for my desk. The screen was easy to calibrate with my laptop and compatible with my playstaton 5. Definitely a great option for mutiple uses. I would recommend this among other competitors selling curved monitors. Price was great not too high with a high quality feel and not to low purchasing a bottom of line monitor that wouldn't be worth getting. This 34 inch ultra wide by acer nitro is awesome.
