That was a big disappointment! Was waiting for the laptop for a while, even ensured I was at home to sign the package for FedEx. Had to spend about $50 on Uber to-and-fro to drop the faulty one off at the nearest BestBuy. Waiting for my replacement now. Poor experience.

Horrible Choice

Best Buy refuses to help since it’s been longer than 15 days and I didn’t purchase the additional warranty as it came with a year warranty. I’ve used the laptop less than a dozen times total- downloaded steam and Stardew Valley. I had been playing when the computer turned off out of nowhere and had an internal failure. Please buy your gaming systems elsewhere.

Great piece of equipment, didn't match my preferen

The only issues I had with it are purely personal preferences: too little keyboard feedback, low stock volume, port layout.

Nvidia GPU driver problems.

I updated all the drivers, did all the troubleshooting, but to no avail. And from what I hear, this is a common issue with this particular model. It is basically a lottery, and I got "bad luck"

Do not buy!!! Died in 3 months.

Outstanding Machine

I was using a basic I7 laptop and was experiencing a lot of lag/delays/freezes. You name it. He had a gaming PC and of course it worked like a charm. I was able to obtain this new Acer Predator Helios PC and what a huge difference! I loaded in Call of War and a few other games and WoW. No lag, immediate responses. PvP and PvE very good. Love the Keyboard for Mashing and happy to see it has a 10 key. Now, the funny part is I did not realize I was only using the on-board graphics. After checking the Nvidia card set up, I activated it. Then I was having issues. The lap top had delays and slow load times. Checked and found card set to dedicated. I set it to Auto and was back to great operation again. Maybe needing a update for the Nvidia or the LT. Awesome Specs: Fantastic RGB Keyboard with 10 key. Bright vivid colors. QHD LED 2560 X 1440 resolution with 240 HZ Refresh and 3ms OD response time. I7 12700h 2.3 GHz (14 Cores) More than enough. Turbo mode available when plugged into power. Powerful cooling system 5th Gen AeroBlade™ 3D Fan technology is almost too loud with headphones off. Introduction of liquid metal thermal grease has all the Latest cooling technology for CPU. Latest WiFi AX1675 and 2600 ethernet. Still in Question: Cannot tell for sure if there is a 2nd M.2 slot. Does not appear to have a 2.5 tray. Memory upgrade appears to take up to 32gb. I will open the LT at a later time if I feel the need. But at this point, the present set up is so powerful and no need to upgrade. The case is a Big fingerprint magnet, but a very solid build. Huge power adaptor so will be heavy and bulky when transporting. The total build is definitely for the serious gamer/power User and gives me a new edge over other machines.
