So far so good! The quality is great. First gaming laptop I owned and I love it!

Excellent laptop i ever got, using for triple A game got at least 150-200 fps

No issues so far. I bought this about a month ago and it can handel all of my PC games i have been wantung to play. A great computer for a furst time gamer and a lot cheaper than some other options out there.

Besides from the abysmal battery life, overclocking and undervolting lock, and terrible speakers, Acer had driver issues as well. Opening Steam would probably give an epilepsy for some, specifically on a game page or your friends list. Very low power 5070ti, you might as well get a 5070 and overclock it if you are okay with missing out of 4g VRAM. Additionally, in the first week of purchase, i got 2 BSODs and many, MANY stuttering errors. It is a good system, but the AI is a little jumpy. Cuts in and out however it really helped when I had to send an important letter

I really wanted to like this laptop but it’s constantly crashing at random times. Sometimes I won’t be doing anything and it crashes. And it’s the same message “nvlddmkm.sys video tdr failure”. And so I updated the graphics driver and still crash. I updated everything else and still crash. I uninstalled the display driver and re installed it still crash. So I returned it to Best Buy and got a replacement thinking I had a faulty unit. Nope still same issue. So I reach out to acer and they tell me update the BIOS and so I do that and it still crashes. So I call acer back and they tell me to ship it to them but they didn’t want to send me any shipping materials. It’s enough I paid so much money for this laptop and now I have to pay to ship it to them! It sucks because the return window closed for Best Buy and now I’m stuck with this laptop. I should’ve gotten my money back when I had the chance. I gave it one star because it works the times it isn’t randomly crashing but it’s not worth the money to have such an unreliable laptop. It’s such a shame here I thought I got a good deal.

Great view and easy to set up. The keyboard layout is a little non standard, so that takes some getting use to.

The laptop is amazing it hasnt given me any problems wit atleast 3 months of moderate use it is reliable and i can run any game i want at good settings.

Potential fire hazard. I burned my hand and almost burned my backpack. It got too hot, and I could smell the burn. It's not possible to travel with it. If you carry it in your backpack with all the apps closed and in sleep mode, expect a burn. I tried everything, but nothing seems to work. I don't think replacing the motherboard will solve it. I may have to report it to Safety Commissions due to potential fire hazard. I cannot travel with this laptop anywhere due to a fear of it burning.

There are no disadvantages. I have been using it for more than a month and have not found anything bad. It works very quietly.

After about a month this thing crashes all the time now. It was working so well and now I cant get it to play any games with friends. Sometimes the fans start up to cool it and sometimes it doesnt.

Amazing computer , but has a problem with USB c being so close to the heat exhaust and it shuts down the ports
