Love the computer. I'm not a huge gamer so the neutered video card doesn't bother me. As an overall work horse do all machine it does pretty well. OLED screen pops for entertainment and runs smooth as butter. If you want highest FPS this isn't it, but if you're ok with just good graphics and not excellent it fits the bill good in a portable package.

A very powerful laptop, great screen, and it's good for a student. The battery is the weakest point and it's kind of noisy, but I will recommend it for sure as a great, reliable laptop.

Got it and currently testing this. Can’t beat price to performance. Max wattage is 115. Capped at 240Hz plugged or unplugged. Screen is glossy which I’m not a big fan of but man do the colors look good. It’s thinner than my previous laptop. I keep my laptops plugged so the battery life is not an issue for me.

The 5070TI under performs because of the intel processor heat. I was able to undervolt the cpu a bit giving the gpu a more stable boost. Screen is perfect. The acer app button needs a way of being disabled. its right in the middle of everything and to easy to press for something that is setup once and forget it.

I picked up this laptop on sale about a month ago for $1459.99, and thus far I'm quite impressed. The 240hz OLED screen at a 2560x1600 resolution is a great combo, and the color depth really pops alongside inky deep blacks and solid contrast thanks to being HDR500 certified. HDR1000 would have been preferred, but it's still decent enough to make the benefits of HDR noticeable. As other reviews have, said it's a bit frutsrating that the refresh rate can't be adjusted from anything other than 240hz, but it's likewise easy enough to limit framerate for games either within the games' settings menus or via the nVidia app. Speaking of nVidia, the 12GB RTX 5070Ti in this laptop performs quite admirably. I was recently able to run Resident Evil: Requiem on it with a mix of high and ultra settings with ray tracing set to high and DLSS at Balanced to get 80-90fps, and a little boost via frame gen could kick it up to a steady 120fps (which I limited from 240fps via the nVidia app). Games in general look superb on the OLED screen, as has been stated, and anything else I've thrown at it has run at least at high settings and fps typically at or above 100fps, depending on the game. The 32GB of DDR5 RAM truly makes a difference for multitasking and browsing, as when I use the laptop primarily for work, I'll sometimes have towards of 30+ tabs open between two Google Chrome profiles, but there's no slow-down or hitching whatsoever. The fans on this thing can rev quite loud when gaming, especially when playing AAA fare like RE9, and the onboard speakers leave something to be desired as they have a kind of tinny, hallway-esque sound to them. These things are noticeable but not necessarily a detracting gripe for me since I typically wear headphones. Battery life is also so-so at best, definitely NOT recommended to be on battery when gaming, and with word processing or web browsing, battery will last 2-2.5 hours tops it seems. I keep it plugged in 90% of the time, so somewhat of a moot issue for myself but nontheless worth acknowledging. If you're looking for a gorgeous, excellently performing gaming laptop and can nab this for $1500 or less, it's a very solid pick.

This unit can handle any game thrown at it. The 5070ti graphics card and Ultra 9 275HX processor work well together to produce some of the best gaming I've ever done. The framerate for any game i've tried is very good also, even on max graphic settings, which pairs well with the OLED display. Hard to ignore this kind of performance for the cheaper price

I purchased the laptop before Christmas but only last week set it up. It’s a beautiful sleek gaming laptop that is lighter and much better performing than my current laptop. Seems very stable so far although I haven’t really had a chance to put it through serious testing.

High-End Gaming Laptop: A Value for Money, But..

This high-end gaming laptop offers an exceptional value for money. However, it is crucial to exercise caution when folding the laptop while it is powered on. I encountered an issue where the screen became blocked out upon folding it back open, causing the laptop’s fans to accelerate and generate excessive heat. Fortunately, this incident occurred only once, and I was able to turn off the laptop after it had drained its battery. It is possible that this was a temporary glitch, or perhaps it is advisable to avoid turning on the laptop when it has only 10% battery remaining.

Coming at this review as a pretty casual consumer who uses this laptop mainly for indies, cozy games, and Fortnite- this thing is a beast. My old desktop doesn’t come close to this laptop’s performance and the screen is gorgeous. I only use it plugged in on a flat surface so I can’t really speak to battery life or even heat management, but I’ve never noticed super loud fans or it being hot to the touch. For the price, this thing is amazing and I have no regrets.

My son recently bought the Acer - Predator Neo 16S AI Gaming Laptop - 16" OLED 24OHz - Intel Core Ultra 9 - NVIDIA GeForce RTZ 5070Ti - 1TB - Obsidian Black. He likes it so far. The battery life is pretty bad and now e need to buy a fan because it overheats quickly, but otherwise he likes it,

Pretty much exactly what you would expect for the price. Works as promised with all cons being incredibly minor and typical with laptop. I use it to play Star Citizen which is considered one of the hardest video games to run in the world. Runs fine for me at a easy 50-80 fps and looks very nice with the oled screen

Love that sleek and understated look that just look and feels premium. It's thin and packs a HX processor, which was a surprise considering the thickness. The thermals is amazing. (This is my second gaming notebook that I've bought this year for me and my kid, and it is far better than the one that cost over $1k more of the same GPU/CPU, and significantly thicker in March with pre-order). I'm also glad that I didn't see earlier reviews, otherwise, I would've bought at the full MSRP, which is a great value at MSRP especially compare to its nearest comp. Yes, it would be a steal at full MSRP. My complaint is that my nearest Best Buy was out of stock earlier this year when I was ready to buy. The display is incredibly vivid, with ultra high color gamut, and 240Hz matches perfectly with the RTX5070Ti GPU. Even on the smaller things in life like Thunderbolt and Type C, I really appreciate that Acer enabled one of the Type C with direct dGPU connection. My other gaming notebook from Best Buy had both connected to iGPU (hated it). I do play mostly on external displays, and appreciate the dGPU Type C and Power is on the back, and makes the cable management clean. The built quality is great, but what really made me happy was that I got far far far more performance than other thin chassis that cost much more. My only regret was that I wish Best Buy would've had this unit much earlier. Could've saved me a few thousand dollars from my first RTX5070Ti that I bought before reviews existed (different brand). Battery life, yes, it is a gaming notebook, and I have no issues with it. Overall, this is the best gaming notebook that I had purchased and love the performance, display, and quality of this product.

I'm absolutely blown away by this laptop! The performance is insane, and the graphics are stunning. I've played some of the most demanding games on the market, and this laptop handles them with ease. The display is gorgeous, and the keyboard is comfortable to type on. The battery life is better than expected, and the design is sleek and portable. I've had zero issues with overheating or lag. This laptop is a beast! Highly recommend to any serious gamer out there. *Pros:* - Exceptional performance - Stunning display - Comfortable keyboard - Good battery life - Sleek design *Would I buy again?* Absolutely!

Bought this because they had it on sale for $1599, so I figured it was a good time to get something portable. Got it and realized Acer really sucks and configuring their BIOS to you know make sure that their product doesn't overheat. Had to do some digging on the forums because I knew Acer was going to be trash at helping and while part of the time GeekSquad isn't bad their track record of ripping open small tech and assembling it back together correctly really isn't their strong suit. I also figured this was more than just a repasting issue since liquid metal is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. So while digging around and reading up on this specific chipset and GPU and running some numbers I realized Acer has this thing cranked to 130% on a cold start when it didn't have to be that way. No reason to overexert the CPU on startup when its gonna sit for a minute anyway. Tweaked some settings and now instead of Idle temps sitting at 85c and about 100c while gaming with fans on auto and about 10c different when on max. We now sit at a frosty 58c at idle and 73c gaming. Even better when when the fans are kicked up to about 65% and a laptop cooler. I mention the fans because Acer's garbage sense software doesn't like to kick on the fans until its already hot... good job Acer. You made a magnanimous machine but still suck at software. Now Back to the temps now we don't even break 60c while gaming as it should be. Great piece of hardware but buyer beware, it will take some tweaking to get it just right.
