Got it on the Black Friday sales. Overall very budget-worthy (compared with other Nvidia 5070Ti + 32 RAM + OLED laptops) as it ran smoothly. Just to note - I did use the cooling pad and also disable some unused programs pre-installed in the laptop which could help a bit as well.

This laptop has been a great purchase! I love how fast it is and the screen images are sharp and clear! I am so glad we purchased this one.

I’ve been using the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI for a bit now, and honestly I really like it. The screen looks amazing, especially for gaming and watching videos, and everything runs super smooth. It handles games and multitasking without any problems. The only downsides are the battery doesn’t last long and the fans can get pretty loud, but overall it’s a solid laptop for the price.

I bought this for a gaming computer, I installed all updates as instructed, including Assassins Creed Valhalla, I started playing the game and it started running very HOT. The area above the F-key row got so hot it would have burned my fingers if I hadn't jerked my hand away. I contacted support and the tech had me uninstall the Graphics Driver. that helped a lot but even on my simpler games the fans have to run very high rpms and is noisy and hot air blows out of it which makes for a good heater if you need that. I can't play my games at max settings, I have to use medium settings.

This thing is incredible. Crimson Desert Native with just frame gen on its hitting 100+ on cinematic, arc raiders over 300+ with the Right settings, fully upgradeable ram and ssd. Incredible feat of engineering. Had a rog strix before and this blows that out of the water. As well as the ASUS Tuf brand laptops.

All the fan noise comments are irrelevant. It’s a gaming PC it’s going to have fan noise when you’re gaming with these specs. It’s not obnoxious by any means. Great product, I will say it takes some time getting used to the 240hz, my wife actually got motion sickness the first time gaming on it.

Its a nice laptop, graphics is good but one thing i hate is it heat up so fast.

Best laptop I’ve owned. Definitely recommend getting a cooling pad for it. Oled screen with the 5070ti goes hard

Originally bought this computer for 3D mesh rendering. I’ve moved to 4k gaming recently and this laptop performs excellent! I highly recommend this laptop.

Was slow and cumbersome upon initial testing, but eventually became a bit more useable after many updates and settings reconfigurations. Keyboard layout can be frustrating, specifically the shift key on the right side. Decent gaming laptop, struggled with video editing. High RAM consumption from background process and Windows 11 even while no applications are open. Battery life is horrendous. Decent laptop, but there are much better options available with only a very slight increase in cost.

Good performance gets a little hot on the bottom of the computer

Great laptop for gaming. Got it for my son for Christmas and he loves that’s it’s a laptop so he can bring it with him to friends houses to play together.

I love this laptop. It handles everything you’d want for gaming with strong performance and smooth gameplay. It does run a bit hot due to the powerful components, but the fan settings help manage temperatures well. The fans can get a little loud under heavy load, but they do a great job keeping everything cool. Overall, a great purchase and I’m very happy with it.

Great thin and light powerhouse of a laptop. And for the price is an amazing deal

This laptop is incredible. And the support is excellent. The laptop performs up to the hype. The only issue we had was that the laptop had an issue with the power supply. However, the plus side to all of this is that the laptop had great support. It was in the middle of the night when I reached out, and had an RMA by the morning after working with a tech to diagnose the issue. I mailed the laptop to their Texas repair facility on Monday, and it was repaired / replaced and was on its way back to me by Thursday. Great turnaround. The only complain that I had was that I shipped it in the original box it came in, and I didn't get that back. However, they did forewarn me that this would happen.

This computer is very well made and does excellent with gaming! Only thing I would mention is it tends to get slow when it starts to get hot, and I have a cooling station and everything for it. I would recommend this laptop though because I’m pretty sure my issue is user error!

Great, powerful equipment, but at a cost. It's definitely loud under load and not a "lap" top. Maybe mine is just faulty, but there are times when the fan starts making a clicking noise. Love the oled display though

Specs are amazing. Thin and lightweight. Performance is good. Problem is, it overheats all the time even while idling. The BIG problem is that this laptop has an issue with both of its USBC ports that are located on the back. They do not give a stable video output connection with an external monitor if you are using a USBC to Displayport cable. This is a bummer because you actually want to use Displayport for PC gaming. I got constant screen splashing with both ports. I tried 3 different cables, changed power settings via control panel, BIOS, and Predatorsense software. I did some research and found this is a common issue with the Neo 16 and Neo 16s units. I would not recommend this computer. If you are paying $1600+ sale price or even the $1900 retail price, the computer should not have an issue like this at all. Furthermore, you want a gaming laptop that will remain cool under pressure. Heat is the number one killer of a laptop in general

It's a pretty good laptop with a powerful graphic chard with a smoth screen i ever seen

Every 5 years or so I buy a gaming laptop. Wanted something for gaming and video editing. This Acer laptop fits that mold, but at a great price. For $1550 you get a very capable gaming device and work horse. So far it runs COD, Devisio 2, and others flawlessly. Yes it drains battery and the fan can get a little noisy, but its a gaming laptop. You can travel with it, but need to plug it in for gaming. I highly recommend this laptop
