However, it shuts down randomly (on a weekly basis) with the blue screen error "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart" - normally there will be a code at the very bottom from what I see online- but there is no stop code shown. Drivers and all software/hardware is up to date. One other issue I have is the "Co-Pilot" button placement. It took the space of the Ctrl button that I used frequently. (Not the left Ctrl button) Would be great if they placed it somewhere else.

Acer has always had bad products but I gave this laptop a try because the price is so good. Too good to be true unfortunately. It froze at least once per day starting from the day I bought it. My guess is it’s a heat issue because it becomes very uncomfortable on your fingers when playing games. The keys are just so hot. But the crashes are what made me return it. I gave it the full 15 days hoping it would stop crashing. I tried multiple solutions to fix the crashing but when it crashed while using just chrome, I had enough and returned it. It’s a shame because you cant find a better laptop for the price.

Sometimes I won’t be doing anything and it crashes. And it’s the same message “nvlddmkm.sys video tdr failure”. And so I updated the graphics driver and still crash. I updated everything else and still crash. I uninstalled the display driver and re installed it still crash. So I returned it to Best Buy and got a replacement thinking I had a faulty unit. Nope still same issue. So I reach out to acer and they tell me update the BIOS and so I do that and it still crashes. So I call acer back and they tell me to ship it to them but they didn’t want to send me any shipping materials. It’s enough I paid so much money for this laptop and now I have to pay to ship it to them! It sucks because the return window closed for Best Buy and now I’m stuck with this laptop. I should’ve gotten my money back when I had the chance. I gave it one star because it works the times it isn’t randomly crashing but it’s not worth the money to have such an unreliable laptop. It’s such a shame here I thought I got a good deal.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Besides from the abysmal battery life, overclocking and undervolting lock, and terrible speakers, Acer had driver issues as well. Opening Steam would probably give an epilepsy for some, specifically on a game page or your friends list. Very low power 5070ti, you might as well get a 5070 and overclock it if you are okay with missing out of 4g VRAM. Additionally, in the first week of purchase, i got 2 BSODs and many, MANY stuttering errors.
