This thing is incredible. Crimson Desert Native with just frame gen on its hitting 100+ on cinematic, arc raiders over 300+ with the Right settings, fully upgradeable ram and ssd. Incredible feat of engineering. Had a rog strix before and this blows that out of the water. As well as the ASUS Tuf brand laptops.

Great performing laptop that handles everything and can even run smaller local AI LLM models with ease. Absolutely beautiful display, super bright with reduced reflectivity. Works great outside even in full sun, the display remains very vivid and easy to see.

I recently purchased this laptop as I needed something under a certain price but with a higher end 50xx series Nvidia for video editing and gaming. I am very happy with my purchase as this Acer Predator is fast to boot up, has a nice RGB keyboard, works well with Adobe and Topaz apps and fits all my gaming needs. I keep it plugged in because it would drain too fast for what I do but I am always near a socket so it isn't an issue for me.

Excelent laptop, fast, powerfull and very good screen

I see a lot of people worrying about benchmarks and trying to choose the best purchase, but I can tell you with confidence this is the best you can buy for the price. Its screen is incredible! I had never had an OLED other than on cell phones, and it’s so amazing that I’m even thinking about getting an OLED monitor as well. As for Best Buy’s service, it was top-notch when I bought it! I totally recommend it.

So far, I have not come across any lag issues or noise problems. I have been having trouble connecting to Bluetooth though. Will keep updating as I use it.

A very good and powerful PC, great for playing all kinds of current games, as it features an Nvidia 5070ti, which is the best graphics card brand at the moment, with DLSS 4.5 and other technologies.

Every 5 years or so I buy a gaming laptop. Wanted something for gaming and video editing. This Acer laptop fits that mold, but at a great price. For $1550 you get a very capable gaming device and work horse. So far it runs COD, Devisio 2, and others flawlessly. Yes it drains battery and the fan can get a little noisy, but its a gaming laptop. You can travel with it, but need to plug it in for gaming. I highly recommend this laptop

I purchased this laptop as a gift for my son making consistent honor roll all throughout high school for him to enjoy playing Roblox. His first laptop was deemed irreparable and when in-store this one was highly recommended. My son’s eyes immediately lit up when testing this laptop out so it was a definite thumbs up.

Laptop is great. Everything loads fast, graphics are superb. Using copilot with alt-enter is a breeze and the bread and butter of interacting these days. Only thing that cracked me up laughing, was the audio. Maybe I was spoiled before with my custom laptop, but the sound coming out of this thing is like a tin can. Absolutely wretched haha. Definitely dont get this laptop unless you already have some good headphones, or external speakers.

I love this laptop. It handles everything you’d want for gaming with strong performance and smooth gameplay. It does run a bit hot due to the powerful components, but the fan settings help manage temperatures well. The fans can get a little loud under heavy load, but they do a great job keeping everything cool. Overall, a great purchase and I’m very happy with it.

It has 2 problems: one is that the power supply isn’t strong enough, limiting the GPU’s capacity and making it like a 5070. The other problem is that the screen is always at 240Hz, which drains the battery very quickly, even without gaming.

great value for the money at the time, it was on sale and I would say probably not worth the full price cost but it is a good laptop

Acer Predator works great so far. I have not had time to go deep into how it will work for Autocad C3d 2025 but will after Christmas. This unit is slightly smaller than my current Laptop but should be much faster.

Specs are amazing. Thin and lightweight. Performance is good. Problem is, it overheats all the time even while idling. The BIG problem is that this laptop has an issue with both of its USBC ports that are located on the back. They do not give a stable video output connection with an external monitor if you are using a USBC to Displayport cable. This is a bummer because you actually want to use Displayport for PC gaming. I got constant screen splashing with both ports. I tried 3 different cables, changed power settings via control panel, BIOS, and Predatorsense software. I did some research and found this is a common issue with the Neo 16 and Neo 16s units. I would not recommend this computer. If you are paying $1600+ sale price or even the $1900 retail price, the computer should not have an issue like this at all. Furthermore, you want a gaming laptop that will remain cool under pressure. Heat is the number one killer of a laptop in general

This laptop can handle soooooo much. I love the storage space, graphics and refresh rate. Also couldn’t beat the price for what I got. Buying from Best Buy was also less panic inducing with the protections they offer. 10/10 would buy again Ps. Whisper quiet for the most part

This laptop has been well able to run architecture software such as Revit, for example, but is still portable without sacrificing too much screen size and processing power. It accomodates extra screens with the wealth of ports included.
