Good little laptop/tablet for the kids inexpensive so kids can be rough with it and no worries

Kids love the fast laptop. It goes great with their school Google Docs that they already know

Overall it is a good Chromebook, and works mostly like it should. It is not always super responsive when I click on something via the trackpad or the touch screen. It does struggle with some apps via Google Play. Though there have been recent updates that have made some issues better. Everything else seems to work fine, and most apps work great. If your looking for something cheap to stream video, or a tablet for social media this will definitely work for you.

I love the size and the feature on my laptop. It great for doing homework and looking up material for classes.

Bought this for younger kids to use at home for school and they love it. Easy to use. Touch screen is great as they have been exposed to various tablets already - school and entertainment. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 - printing is very difficult to figure out and kids need to save as Word (.doc) for school purposes.

I've had this for about 2 weeks now. No issues so far. Works well, has a long battery life.

We use Chromebooks all the time in the classroom, and this one performs well for the price.

My kid loves it as its commonly used for their homework. Also it keeps them off the Ipad.

I bought this Chromebook for my 10 year old daughter and she loves it. She loves writing and finds it very fast and easy to use. We like the different ways to use it- as a tablet or laptop and find the touch screen very receptive. I got a great deal on it too!

Great for students. It seems that most of their books aren’t even books anymore they had access it online so this makes things convenient for them. The 360° rotating screen allows them to hold it like a tablet and make it easier to read. Then they can flip it around and use it like a laptop to do homework and reports and essays, etc. boots up very quickly and seems to navigate the web Quickly to

I purchased this for my son as a Christmas present. He needed something lightweight and that would serve as a supplemental tool to use in class as well as do assignments on. With Google Docs compatibility, he uses it for everything and it seems to run fairly fast so far.

Easy to use and very versatile. My daughter loves it, great to do her homework on.

This is my first experience with a chrome book, however my children have been using them at school for a few years, and my husband uses one with work. (Along with a multitude of other windows and apple products) Things I love about this: It doesn't matter which device I log into, the settings appear the exact same, with same apps loaded. (We purchased 2 of these at the same time). When the children log-into their school accounts at home, they see the same stuff that they see at school, and have access to all their files. The touch screen is excellent. (My husband said that the touch screen was needed in order to access the Google Play Store). I like that I can put the device in "tent mode" so that it is easy to display it on the table so that all the kids can see what is going on. I like to use the tent mode in the kitchen when I am cooking, because I can see the screen, and I don't have to worry about something getting on the keyboard. When the device is turned over into tablet mode, it disables the keyboard. Long battery life in standby mode. (You actually have to "shut-down" the device before closing the lid, otherwise it goes into "standby" mode and the lights remain lit on the front of the device.) Each child has their own log-in. Now I don't have to worry about one child accessing the school files of another child and deleting something on accident. (My children range from Middle school to toddler in age). The keyboard makes it easier to type than using my iPad, but not as comfortable as using the full size keyboard on my Windows computer. I am starting to use the Google Eco System for all of my documents so that I can access them on my home computer, my iPad apps, and on any Chrome device. It was easy to hook it up to a projector when I needed to give a presentation. The price point is awesome. It automatically updates, so my husband says it should last for years, unlike our iPads that keep getting slower and slower the older they get. Things I don't like about it: It is still heavier than my iPad, and the power cord is bigger. When I want to send a webpage link to someone else, there are more steps involved than my iPad. There is not an app to access Amazon Prime Movies, so we just bookmarked the website and use it in the web browser. It is slower than my desktop and my iPad (but it was also a lot less in price). I'm not sure about privacy. I don't know if I am giving up all my personal data because everything is in the cloud. (I really don't know who is selling what data to other companies). Overall this is a great device for the kids and to use around the house. I have been very happy with our purchase of these chrome books.
