This Chromebook can do everything I need it to and it's WAY WAY faster than my PC that was more than double the price. Also it's supposed to get Android apps soon! I can't wait.

Our 11 year old loves this product as do we. The touch feature is so nice and a great quality. She uses it for school and it meets her needs for assignments.

We bought this as a gift for our 11 year old daughter and it is just what we were looking for. The touch screen and the flexibility of the keyboard are great features.

Great hit with my grand-daughter....she immediately wanted her Dad to help her get on-line (parental permissions implemented ) so she could start playing her app games

We bought this product for our daughter for school. It has made a world of difference for her. It has good speed and feel certain she will be able to use this for several years.

I originally went looking for a new Microsoft based laptop, and while browsing in Best Buy, I had a conversation with one of their employees. I explained what I needed and my intended use of it. After listening to me, he suggested a google based Chromebook. At first I was resistance, and came up with a many reasons why I shouldn't, but he explained everything to me. After talking, I decided to make this purchase and I have to say, I'm glad I did. This is a great product and gives me exactly what I want and more. So if you're looking for a new laptop, and don't necessarily need Microsoft, I highly recommend this product.

Bought two of these for my daughters. They use them constantly and have had no issues to date. They sync all there google stuff from school so that is easy for homework too.

So much easier and faster than dealing with windows. Not complicated. Reminds me of when personal computers were first made available to general public. Love it for price too.

Pros: Fast Boot/Resume times Quality Sound Battery Life Bright Display Touchscreen Security Parental Controls Bluetooth Lightweight Clean Design Cons: - Not all Internet sites move smoothly like they do on a PC - Cannot Install full Applications like you can on a PC/Mac (this may or may not be a negative thing to everyone as there are lots of good cloud/Internet-based services and apps that allow you to do a lot of what you can do with applications on a PC/Mac!) - Small Local Storage (though really you don't need it as you store any files you use on Google Drive) - No Actual Printer Support (ChromeOS uses Google Cloud Print, so as long as your printer is cloud-connected or if it's not is connected to a computer that has the Chrome browser installed it'll work... otherwise it won't) All in all, if you're looking for a very straight forward computer to use for surfing the Internet, checking and writing email, editing basic documents, and Social Media this Chromebook good overall. Hardware-wise the only real negative thing I noticed using this Chromebook is that not all websites loaded/scrolled smoothly as they were loading. Once a page was fully loaded, however, they were smooth to scroll through. On the positive, I will say that the sound from this Chromebook is very good/loud, and in fact actually surprised me the first time I loaded up a movie on Netflix with the volume level being loud and full. I'd definitely say this is not something I've seen in all notebooks! For watching Netflix or Amazon Videos, this notebook is perfect! In addition to good sound, the screen is bright and crisp. Software-wise you can use Google's Chrome Web Store apps to enhance the experience and functionality on the Chromebook, and use some Android Apps/Games and Cloud-based apps like Google Docs. Some Apps like Google Docs do have an Offline mode so that you can "work offline" but otherwise you need to be connected to the Internet to use the Internet of course. It's important to know that with ChromeOS everything is designed to be Internet based, and thus does not really rely on local hardware or storage for anything more than the operating system and rending/processing websites or running Chrome Web Apps. Overall, I'd recommend this for someone who doesn't want the fuss associated with owning a conventional PC or Mac and wants to use it for Internet browsing and internet based apps/services. Hardware wise this Chromebook is better than my last one and is faster loading pages than it was. The sound is also vastly better with a brigther screen.

Google rocks!!! The best thing in the market for the price. All you need for Middle or High School kids homework and classwork. very happy with purchase.

This was for my daughter, who has an HP laptop and never used it, but she loves her Chromebook. They use Chromebooks in school, so it was a natural to have one for home.

Bought this for a 7th gr student. It is 5 months old and still intact and working fine. Bought for touchscreen capabilities and memory size.

This is a great little tablet. Perfect for the day out without having to lug around the laptop if you want to get a little work done and have a day off.

I love it. Once second I'm typing the next I have a tablet in my hands watching netflix or swiping through articles. For the price point on top of it, it's a no brainer.

My wife has a Chromebook and when I thought about getting a new laptop I opted for this Chromebook with a touch screen. Works great. Does everything I need it to do.

Solid notebook for the price. Handles tablet mode pretty well. Every now and then there is a noticeable delay when using the touch screen but other than that it works great!

The computer is pretty fast for what it is. Works perfect for the kids and their school work. Best buy offered 6 months of Webroot anti virus which is not compatible with the the Chromebooks.

Love my Chromebook and is very easy to use. One thing don't forget your master log in info or you will loose everything and have to start over....

It's been 10 months since my son started using this chrome book. It's working well for him. Somehow it is not communicating well with our Brother laser printer.
