Simple to set up and use

Fantastic Portable

I was debating between a gaming laptop and a simple one for light productivity and entertainment. I researched how the Chromebook platform has matured and decided to be frugal and try one out. The Acer R11 provides a ton of value for the money. Between the offline Chromebook apps and the Android apps I can accomplish everything I need from editing documents to streaming entertainment. This sold me on the Chromebook platform, but I ended up returning it and getting a higher-spec Acer model (Acer Flip 11).
