Perfect for my son. He needed something compatible with the apps and programs they are using in school and this was it.

Excellent tool for a high school age child able to take it on the go and also loud speakers to hear different lessons online for homework.

This computer is a great Small computer. The no fan internal cooling is key. That caused my last computer to burn up.

Overall this laptop serves my purpose (pay bills, research, social media etc) but is limited. I initially purchased a printer also from Bestbuy which I really havent used and unfortunately still cannot use because it is not compatible to chromebooks. I called Bestbuy to help me make my printer work w this laptop but they will not help me without paying. I wish this purchase came with free technical assitance.

Great computer. Bought for my son for Christmas and he loves it a lot and is a great little computer for a kid.

After unboxing the chromebook I found it to be very compatible to one of its predecessors the C7 in which I own. Initial setup was very easy; due to the fact, I have a Gmail account; however, I experienced a little difficulty in connecting to the Internet. After getting a connection, what I perceived to be was still a shaky internet connection, it was not, it was in actuality the chromebook pulling over my information and apps from the C7. Needless to say, I was surprised as well as elated that I did not have to repeat setup in order to pull my existing apps over to this unit. The following are the pros and cons of the Acer R 11-2-in-1 11.6: Pros: -4 gb of memory which makes it sufficient to handle everyday general tasks such as web surfing, checking of emails, watching of youtube videos and movies, opening of multiple windows, along with other media content. -Decent resolution 1366 X768 HD in which I see a remarkable difference in comparison to my older C7 model, which has the same resolution; however, when viewing pictures and movies the view is not impressive. -Touch screen-the touch screen on this chromebook is very responsive. - HDMI port. -Nice feel of keyboard which aids in the use of typing efficiently. -The 2-in-1 versatility which offers the flexibility of presentation/display style, laptop style, tablet style and tent style. -A built in webcam. -Decent speakers. I’ve watched a view youtube videos in which the speakers were audible. -Long battery life-unlike the C7 which only gives approximately 2.5 hours of battery life. Acer has done a great job with this chromebook which has amazing battery life! CONS: -The trackpad is very glitchy and is not very responsive. I chose to use a USB mouse in order to get better functionality. -The overall structure of this chromebook is plastic, which gives it a cheap feel. -When putting the chromebook in tablet mode, it feels pretty heavy in the hands. I would recommend this laptop to anyone who wants to do basic things such as web browsing, opening of multiple windows for multi-tasking purposes, checking of E-mails, watching of youtube videos, movies etc,. Also, it can be used to do writing of papers with Google docs; spreadsheets with Google sheets; presentations with Google slides and cloud content abilities with the aid of Google Drive. The price of this chromebook is very economical, which makes this a good purchase if you’re on a budget. Overall, Acer has done a good job in their chromebook collection by upgrading and offering such a variety within this platform.

I love this laptop Its a touchscreen and has a keyboard as well. Its a great size I can take it anywhere as well

Here are the key points from my experience: PROS: Good IPS display One of the few models that support Android Can fold back to be used in tablet mode Solid construction even though plastic CONS: Difficult to select and click with Trackpad Key travel is shallow Little heavy when used in tablet mode, works fine as a laptop
