I am highly impressed with this Acer Chromebook. With very little exposure to the Google Chrome world, I was concerned that I'd have a difficult time adapting to this operating system. What I quickly discovered, the Chrome OS is similarly intuitive to other OS's I've used. Owners of a Droid phone will feel very much at home with the shared ecosystem, with the whole host of apps on that platform available in the Google Play store. I was also pleased to find the office productivity applications I typically use were also available. Overall I found adapting to this OS to be just as straightforward as others. As for the machine itself, it delights on so many levels. First the screen is super large - and a TOUCHSCREEN as well. It may be a bit tight to fit into some briefcases because of its width, but I was able to fit it comfortably in mine with two other devices without any issue. It offers all the ports you could need, including two USB-C and two USB-3.0 connections, a micro-SD card slot, an anchor slot for a security lock and a headphone jack. As for system performance, this device is top of the line, boasting an intel Pentium processor, 1920x1080 Full HD resolution, speedy MIMO wireless and a battery with upwards of 12 hours life on a single charge. I am delighted with my new Chromebook and gladly recommend this device to anyone looking for a great machine. I'm confident you won't be disappointed!
