This was replacing an older Acer that the screen died on. Brand new, charged this up, turned it on, and nothing but a black screen. There is a faint white box you can see at the right angle. Spoke to Acer tech support, and the LCD is defective. Best Buy does not show any in stock within 50 miles, and this is a Christmas gift. NOT happy right now.

We bought this chromebook as a Christmas gift for our son. A few days ago google took away supervised user with no replacement. At first glance they said Family Link was an alternative, however this does not work on a chromebook and it's only until the child is 13. Now we have a great chromebook but no way to secure it. Thanks google.

My girls are not able to play their games because it’s not compatible. But they can do everything else!

this is a regular computer with nothing special about it but for the price what do we expected.

Will give 3 stars because I could not use chrome for a software I needed installed. Returned.

Super slow. Anyone who owns a smartphone will be annoyed with all the input lag and all the stuttering from the under clocked dual core celeron processor. Would not recommend for anyone other than those that simply want to watch Netflix.

This started as a great chromebook I loved it until 31 days after I bought it qhen screen starting glitching and then went all the way out. They say screen is cracked but I'm the only person that used it and it was never dropped and there was no external damage. When I went back to Best Buy for assistance they were rude and pretty much refused to assist me. This computer was basically brand new so I'm not sure why they didn't want to assist. I've bought several computers in last year from Best Buy and all of them had issues. One of them they exchanged out for different computer with no issues and we are very happy with that one. So 2 of the 4 computers are useless one has no screen and the other is so slow you can't use it.

Bought it for daughter to type essays not as easy to use as windoes

Freezing up every time she uses it.. Need to power down and boot back up... Will need to bring back

Love the large screen. Looks fabulous. For a larger chromebook I am surprised how light it is to carry. It feels like a good quality when I am carrying it, just enough weight but it is quite light for its size. I like the keyboard and typing. Sound is good too. I am used to 11" chromebooks so this was quite a step up and at first took a little getting used to. Battery life is awesome. I mainly use it for web searching, gmail, and drive type work. Not much for video streaming and the battery life is awesome.

I got this on black Friday 2017 for my daughter to use for her online homework. She barely used it because she usually finishes her work in class. No drops, spills or damage, but by May/June it wouldn't power on or even charge. I was hoping it was the power cord, so I bought a new one...Nope. So in July I finally took it to GeekSquad & they shipped it out for repairs. It came back "repaired" & didn't work when she finally tried to use it for school again. So we sent it back again & they repaired it, stating that it was the cable from the motherboard to the screen that was bad. We'll see how long this lasts, but I don't expect it to last at all. It'll probably make it until the end of the warranty period, then die again. I should've got a different brand...
