Awesome chromebook for a student

It can install android apps that she likes and depending on her orientation, she can adjust however she wants to use it. The charging port is it's biggest drawback as it's not USB-C or microUSB so you have to use the charger that came with it. It could use a few more ports but for a student in school it provides enough.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.second chromebook purchased for a grandkid entering middle school....not as durable as last years Lenovo, but twice the flash memory as most should last through high school...albeit bright white, he loves it...can't tell you how many times he's been told "bring that back!!" as he attempts to take it to every kids house in their neighborhood....to play those stupid games!! Knew I should have bought it for 1st day of school rather than June birthday :-))

Affordable Touch Chromebook

Screen has good picture, the sound quality is decent. I like that this flips into tablet mode when you want to use it like a tablet and it's bigger viewing area than my iPad. Full keyboard when I want to use GoogleDocs. And it comes with extra space for your Google account for 2 years.

Lot of people complain it's just a glorified browser but that's all I do anyway. I don't stream video or music so I don't need a fancy laptop anyway. As someone mentioned, get the 3160 processor.

functional at a great price

It is equipped with Chrome OS and Android functionality. So if you are doing everyday things this pc has got you covered. If you are dedicated in doing high labor intensive things like video editing and music making this may not be for you. Lite games on android it runs excellent. Soon Linux system will be introduced to the Chromebooks making this little powerhouse even more usable...a win all around!
