So far so good. I just wish I could figure out how to add my printer in order to print. I have went thru the steps and still couldn't get it done but it is probably because my printer is a little bit older even though it was on the list that it could work. So I am not sure but i just added the app on my cell phone and will print what I need. I don't print a whole lot so not that big of a deal. Everything else about the tablet, I have loved. It is a little bigger than the last one I had by HP and couldn't get the windows 10 to update because it said it needed more space even though, nothing had been added to it. So I gave up and just got this one. I went thru reviews of different ones and settled on this one. Great purchase for me. I just don't like to use my laptop all the time and wanted something smaller and something i can travel with. AWESOME!

For my son's 12th birthday. he was ecstatic as he uses these at school. right out of the box he turned it on, connected to wifi, signed into his google accounts and was off. I didn't do a darn thing. Ha...I'm getting old....

I have one kid hitting high school and another hitting middle school. One is programming LEGO League robotics and the other is writing essays. I bought 2 of these and they’re great, Fast, fun and the tablet feature is awesome. Pair this with a drawing/design app and its unstoppable.

To be honest I should have done more research on Chromebooks before I purchased but it was not what I expected. I listened to the Best Buy associate that sounded like he knew what he was talking about but didn’t give all the details. This product runs completely on apps. I was told by the associate that I could buy Microsoft office and download it on to the chrome book but once I called the manufacturer they said no that is not possible. It would need apps and you could run excel type docs through google docs but that was it. I was misinformed when I made the purchase so that is what is affecting my rating the most. Also everything on this device needs an app and that can take up a lot of the small storage it has. You even need an app to keep it from going to sleep and ending your programs or website you are running.

I'm writing this review on this machine while sitting in my living room recliner. I use it instead of my Windows 10 i7 machine most of the time and have found I can go days without starting my Windows machine at all, unless I need to do some heavy duty graphics or video editing. Android apps install and work well, except for a couple I have tried, so I use the Acer as a "super sized" android tablet making reading the news and casting Hulu TV to my Chromecast a breeze. You can run Chrome OS and Android apps side-by-side for added convenience. Price, quality build and convenience are first-class at this price point. I'd prefer a backlit keyboard, but those are scarce in the Chromebook world. I just bought a little $8 USB powered gooseneck LED lamp to light the keyboard for me in dark areas. It works pretty well.

Bought it for wife, regular use where she doesn't need any exclusive and/or special apps that run only on Windows and OSx. Google docs, excel and etc are good and perform just as well as Microsoft Office apps.

I seriously considered getting the Google Pixelbook at $999 and I have! It's fast, it's flawless, and it's perfect. But for $299 (or $249 for me) this Chromebook is second place easily. If all you are doing is watching movies, chatting with people, and browsing the web -- then this is the chromebook for you. Unlike the Pixelbook, this has two USB port, one being 3.0. It also has the beloved HDMI port. I have two monitors hooked to my chromebook using an additional USB-to-HDMI adapter purchased elsewhere... and it works perfectly. (If I open the laptop, I technically have three monitors!) Just make sure you get the one with the Intel® Celeron® processor N3160 which is the latest one as of this review.

This has an amazing quality touch screen. It also is great to have the flexibility to use like a traditional lap top or a tablet. My son was thrilled to get this for Christmas. He uses it for homework, Netflix and YouTube as well as Google Playstore apps.

I bought this laptop to bring to college. I wanted something cheaper, but something that’d work well. I have a MacBook Pro and I think this is just as easy to use. I absolutely love it and I just bought another one for my mom because of how great it works.

This Chrome book is fast and has Google Play store! A piece of advice, when getting Chrome books, you need to make sure it actually has Google Play store, and not just the Chrome Book's app store.

The touch screen, light weight and size were all factors when picking this chrome book. My son was very excited to receive it for promotion to middle school.

This chrome book was bought for my son who uses it for school. It is just great! Fast and easy set up for sure! Love the touch screen feature! Best Buy was very helpful in giving us all the info to make our decision on this particular chrome book!

Very fast and powerful small portable and easy to use

This is the first time getting into a chromebook due to unsure of what you could actually get on it(app wise). Did some research and found this model being compatible with Google play so pulled the trigger and bought it. That being said have not had any issues getting the same android apps on chromebook that I carry on my phone for work. Nice, Fast, easy to take places. Also the touch screen is nice. I will say takes a little getting used to configuration wise(caps,copy/paste and a couple other minor things). Once you figure it out works great.

Kids use chromebook in HS so I was asked for on for college, bought for Christmas, super easy to set up for my 18 year old. Ended up getting another for my daughter for her upcoming birthday. Bonus is the fact that it turns into a tablet!!!

I purchased this chromebook, due to travelling. It was great for just checking emails and searching the internet. I returned the item not because it was not a good value. But, I was looking for something that I could utilize the apps, without having to be connected to the internet. I found that my tablet served that purpose.

This is the perfect laptop for a child. Easy to use, touch screen, and durable. I have been very happy with this product.

I bought this for my daughter. She loves it because it's small with a touch screen. She's able to do her school assignments with no problems

I bought this for my 9 year old and couldn't be happier. Easy to use and now adays they need it for school. Great speed and perfect size.
