This is one of the best Chromebook in the 12-inch and under class. It has all the usual features, plus access to google stores for downloading apps, etc, and even though it's light, it's very fast. I really like the touch-screen feature and use that for much of the normal navigating and selection tasks (I'm not a big fan of touchpads). I checked the ability to function as a tablet - it does, but I haven't used that feature.

I really enjoy my new Chromebook the only thing I don't enjoy about it and I cannot get like certain apps for example iTunes but overall I'm very satisfied

Great Chromebook. Resolution is very good and quick and responsive, the touchscreen is awesome. Very portable and great for productivity.

I only gave this 4 stars because the OS is not very familiar to me. I've never had an Android product before. As I get to know the Chromebook more I will raise it to 5 stars. I've always used an iPad, but I have found I can do so much more with the Chromebook. I use it to take notes for all my school meetings and since everything is in the cloud I don't have to worry about loosing it. The resolution is fantastic, the sound is very passable and the keyboard and touch pad are very responsive. This probably will not take the place of my laptop, but my iPad is getting used less and less. The battery lasts two days, it's blazing fast and I would buy another one in the future.

I got this laptop as a portable browser on my moves. I was not expecting much from it and honestly was looking forward to the return conditions in case I don't like it. Well, I am reviewing it only now, almost a month of intensive use to express how amazed I am using it. Chrome OS is basically a browser that has other things (cloud applications) that are running on it. This is the summary... This Acer also supports Android apps. Most of the apps I am running on it are just running fine with no issues. Days passed using this small laptop, I found myself using it more as my main device. I am learning the new ecosystem and adapting to it very fast. I think Chrome OS can satisfy at least 70% of now days computer needs with less hassle dealing with OS maintenance, antiviruses... Battery time is amazing! It gives me in average 8 hours of continuous intensive use. Screen quality is above average! Good for what I am using it for. I don't use the touch screen too much but I can say it is not bad. The keyboard feels nice to type on. The track pad is amazing (once you know all the tricks). Microphone and cameras are amazing. Building quality is good. I have the look like crooked hinges thing but who cares... To print, I either use the HP envy I have at home or through my browser printer installed on the desktop computer. Printing is not an issue at all with new printers. Scanner working fine using Android app for scanning from Brother and HP scanners. Over all, it is not bad at all. Nice to carry and it gives most of what I need for the daily use.

I have been using the acer Chrome book for three weeks now and am surprised at how easy it is to use (once you quit thinking in Microsoft Window). It is much easier to use, straight from the box, plug it in and start personalizing it; no hours of updates before anything else. I like the size, compact and light easy to travel with. I doubt I will go back to a Windows product again.

Got this for my son. He's used it from middle school to highschool. I'm thankful I got it for him before the pandemic hit. It became his educational lifeline. It was perfect for the Google cloud platform which he used for all his classes. Works great at home and on the road! Keeps a good charge. Touchscreen is the best feature! He's had it for 3 years now.

Compact, runs well, charges fast, nice screen for movies etc, touch screen isn't buggy. I'm a picky person and I love it.

Bought this to replace a similar Acer model which was having charge port issues. The power connects on the side rather than the back, so I'm hoping we don't have the same issue. Love the touchscreen!

The mix between a tablet and laptop is amazing I paired it with a wireless mouse and use it during breaks and class for taking notes and playing poker.

I went into Best Buy with the sole intention of looking for a replacement laptop. My needs were simple: basic word processor for writing, my exact words were basically a modern typewriter. I didn't need anything fancy, and the associate I worked with pointed me to the Chromebook, and the Acer seemed the best fit. Once I got it home, the product exceeded my expectations with speed and ease of use, and I couldn't be more pleased. Great product and great customer service!

We bought this for our high school student and she is really happy with the speed and the flip screen. It was a good value for the price and everything was ready to go out of the box. We are pleased.

I got fed up with my Android tablets constantly running out of memory. After researching solutions, Chromebooks came up as really great alternative to tablets. Researching Chromebooks, the Acer R-11 convertable with 32mb of memory and touch screen seemed a great choice. It hasn’t disappointed. Setup was fast and simple and it runs everything that we want and does it quickly. Was so happy with the first one I bought a second one for my wife.

This has been a great chrome book for my 9 year old. She likes that she can use it like a conventional laptop with the keyboard as well as use it as a tablet with the touchscreen. Great purchase.

At first I was a little skeptical of getting this because of it being so cheap. But I looked at the reviews and took a chance, and I’m so glad I did. It works great and I have no issues with it so far. I’ve had it for a few months now and the only real difference from a real computer that I can tell is using Microsoft word on it. There are differences in the app that isn’t the same as using it on a real computer. But I still love it for the price.

We were looking for a simple to use laptop to use for strictly getting online. The resolution is great, and the touch screen is a nice bonus.

I did most of my classes online and this computer was everything that I needed and more. Could not have asked for a better laptop and in a great price range when I needed it unexpectedly.

Exactly what I hoped for. I'm very pleased with this computer. Good size, very light and extremely fast.

Bought this computer for my daughter. She loves it. She uses it for homework and also to watch movies and tv shows. The price was right.
