    $300 to have them come back to do what they forgot

    They forgot to adjust the drop on the motorized projector screen and it goes down too far and Geek Squad tells me I have to pay $300 more to have them come back to do what they forgot.

    Postponed 3 times still waiting. Very painful journey I am having. My order was 13k. I am almost ready to cancel everything.

    Incompetent technicians - didn’t know how to mount the projector. Had to call the senior 2-3 times to have it fixed. Super inconvenient

    Cost us $950 extra dollars for zero service

    We were advised by Geek Squad/Best Buys to book a scissor lift for installation, costing us $950. On the day of installation we were advised that they could not use the scissor lift. Followed up with the area manager twice and did not hear back. We are a small business and cannot afford nearly 1k without an outcome. Absolutely disgraceful.

    Drive 10 hrs for app't & brought broken equipment/then never came back - never called for days. Then reacheduled & BB canceled app't again!! No follow up. Worst experience I've ever had & ts still NOT done!!! Terrible customer service and over all horrible experience that won't ens!

    Job not complete 4 weeks after initial order and next available not until 15 December (written 1Dec). Concierge service promised by original in-house salesman anything but.

    Geek squad agent was not knowledgeable on how to install projectors. I was concerned about damage the whole time. I eventually stepped in to assist because he was having a difficult time.

    We are still waiting for Best Buy to call us to finish hooking up our Roku to the projector. Other than that they were great

    Great Guys Bad Service

    I have bought 5 different Geek Squad installations in the last 30 days and not one worked out. The guys are great but there’s always a policy issue which either prevent them from doing it or they need to be paid more money to do it.

    They put up the projector, but we’re not able to get it to show a dvd or stream anything.

    Geek Squad did not complete the job and just left. The in-home scheduler would not even respond to texts /phone calls once the selling was done. Extremely dissatisfied.

    Outdoor Projector needs to be set up at night, Geek Squad was not available after 4pm. So was No Help with set up and served no purpose!

    I am not a DIY type of guy. I purchased a projector and a mount online but didn't have the confidence and know-how to mount it properly. I (foolishly) did not pre wire my room for a projector set up either. Enter Geek Squad. They came in and determined they could run HDMI in the ceiling and in a wall even though it is an outside wall. Within an hour, they had the HDMI fished through the ceiling and the outside wall. I was impressed! They mounted my projector and squared the image. I am highly satisfied with the service and work provided by Geek Squad. Even though I didn't have an ideal situation, they still found a way to make it work to my satisfaction. Thumbs up!!!
