The issue was not resolved the Universal Remote is a URC TDC 7100, it was not reset.

Agent had difficulties multiple times programming the remote. Preferred the other remotes we had previously. Expensive too!

The tech was not able to get everything programmed and was unprepared. He had to use my laptop to do the programming. But This is our first issue with Geek Squad.

Terrible service. I am still waiting for service. Geek Squad unhooked my Universal control and sold me the cheaper harmony remote. It is not synchronized with all my speakers. I am still trying to get someone to come without selling me more equipments. Last one was trying to sell me equipment costing more than $2,000

Still not working properly. They continue to return die to programming/connectivity issues. Maybe it’s time they send their Magnolia Tram to troubleshoot. Issues with logitech harmony Pro remote getting new receiver to work with new LG oled tv to have audio from what is being seen on tv to play on speakers on zone 2. Speakers work bec we can hear it play music. Seems like geeks have not programmed output source correctly.

installation was good - but incomplete. many channels that are part of my line up now show as "not supported". I just recently tried to listen to my music channels and they all show as "not supported".

the technician was very helpful trying to get all the functions on the remote to work but was unable to get the remote to operate the outside system. Old remote had no problem doing this but this one isn't designed for it.

the geek squad in Miami came to the house and never fixed the remote. Originally Magnolia put in surround sound and mounted the TV,s and did the remote for the TV. I understand with Covid I couldn't,t get ahold of anyone in Ventura.. The remote is still not fixed.. Can you get anyone at Magnolia in Ventura to fx my remote.. I will be back down January 21st through January 29th..

After a return visit by the Geeks, the remote still doesn't turn on the sound bar when turning on the other components. I blame the product itself. Too many bells and whistles to work effectively.

We hired another company to set up the Harmony and they did a very good job. We are enjoying it very much.

She is a poor listener and very hard to understand, in my opinion she has no business taking phone calls. I went to a locally owned electronics store a purchased a new TV.

Work NEVER finished... sent second agent out after first ried two times. Second agent said to contqct him if i still had issues, I DID, NO RESPONSE!

See previous review. Installation Tech Rep could not program the Genesis remote control. A SECOND Tech Rep tried was not able to program correctly. I called the store directly and was promised I would receive a phone call "within 2 hours" to schedule an exact date for another Tech Rep to attempt this once again. I NEVER RECEIVED THIS CALL. I now feel I must go to the store directly to discuss this with a Store or Geeksquad Manager. VERY BAD SERVICE

While the universal remote appears to be a perfect solution to linking all the components of your smart TV, DVD, cable/satellite box, Apple TV, etc., it is, as yet, an unrealized, imperfect, and unpredictable headache. I have found, after almost two years and two hundred dollars of Geek Squad visits, that the purchase of a universal remote was a mistake and that it fails to provide the promised service. I am currently using a combination of the universal remote and the cable remote. Doesn't this contradict the very notion of a "universal remote"?

Best Buy won’t program a non- Harmony remote on-site. Costs $400 to take into the store for a day to reprogram. That’s ridiculous, especially when I have TotalTech We needed to hook up an emitter The Gerk installers didn’t have glue - they asked if I had any duct tape. They taped it on to the TV. It disconnected in 1 day. I got an outside service to do it right

They wanted to leave before the Pioneer theater was fully programed. Once programed I saw the issue... The remote is not user friendly to Pioneer receivers.

For what was to be a simple installation took 3 Geek Squad vehicles and a Supervisor. They were here for 5 hours. NOT HAPPY STILL To their credit they were determined to fix a situation that they created. I was advised improperly when a Home Advisor came out, then sold a wrong solution then up charged while they were at the home to finish the job. I have spent lots of money over the years with Best Buy. May need to look for an alternative after this Geek Squad Fiasco,

I was shown how to use the Universal Remote for a few minutes. However, it is VERY HARD TO USE AND VERY COMPLICATED. There being no GUIDE BOOK to look up usage my TRIAL AND ERROR method was not successful in gaining any skill in using this UNIVERSAL REMOTE. The $100.00 spent was a mistake! I'd not recommend it for anyone!

I had to completely uninstall my rear surround speakers and reinstall them properly, so they would work. The speakers wouldn’t work at all and appeared as if someone just didn’t care when installing them, or had absolutely no clue what they were doing. I tried contacting a manager but no one ever called me back! I would have legitimately spent more money at Best Buy to have ceiling speakers installed, but I lost all confidence in Best Buy’s competence at installations.

I can't say anything good about this service. At the departure of the service the tech talked me into a service membership that i told him to later cancel. I was told i would not be charged because he was unable to perform the task and he would cancel the membership. Now I have two charges i am currently disputing.
