Before we begin
When we arrive at your home, we'll discuss the scope of work to ensure that services purchased meet your needs and expectations. If they don't, we'll recommend solutions.
Programming your new remote
We'll set up a user ID and password for online use (if applicable) and program the remote for up to 8 devices and 6 activities.
Making sure everything works
We'll test the remote control to ensure all devices are working properly and demonstrate how to use your newly programmed remote.
*This service requires a working high-speed Internet connection, as well as a PC or Mac, and does not include setup of audio or video components.
**Additional charges may be required for land travel beyond installation coverage areas.

The Geek Squad agents that came to program my remote which they brought with them. I purchase the remote which turned out to very good except the Geek Squad agents were totally ignorant of what they were supposed to do. I will say they have knowledge of programing some but not all what I expected from them . They were saying that it is the receiver of which I purchased from BEST BUY!!@@@ not too long ago that's bad. The reviewer's name is ONKYO, your produc!!!!. But it's not the Receiver that's bad, they are the expert agents of the GEEK SQUAD that's bad. I will tell you a secret. My son who has been listening in his room fixed it. Now I can watch TV and Movies. The GS could not fix it my son did it in 5 minutes. I paid close to $400 which included the new remote which cost $99 plus. The rest, I should get a credit back. I would give the GS 1 star. That's it. You should hire my son but he has a good job. I am not teling your agents what my son did. It only took him 2 minutes.

Job well done
The agents mounted my tv and set my remote control with no problems. Just make certain you get actual Geek Squad team as opposed to Best Buy sending a 3rd party.

Great customer service! Tony and Ian were friendly, professional and very helpful. They installed and programmed my new tv, soundbar and universal remote. They had everything working great in a very short time. They took time to show me how to use everything and answered my many questions. I highly recommend Carson City Geeks!
A:AnswerHi RedTail - the Geek Squad has a service called Home WiFi setup and support. It covers the setup of your new router and includes a year of ongoing support for your network. This can be purchased online or my going into your local Best Buy store.
