Save yourself the hassle and have us set up your new video device (media player, video game console, etc.). If needed, we’ll complete any initial software configurations your TV might need so it can be ready for us to configure your video devices. We’ll connect up to two video devices to your TV or A/V receiver and configure the picture, sound, and general settings. We’ll then connect up to two video devices to your existing home network and perform any necessary firmware updates. We’ll also configure up to three subscription services or profiles on your video device(s), and we can set up screen mirroring using your compatible mobile device. Once the setup is finished, we’ll take the time to demo your new technology and make sure you know how to use it. - Initial evaluation and consultation: When we arrive at your home, we'll evaluate the service area and discuss the scope of work to ensure that the services purchased meet your needs and expectations. If they don't, we'll recommend solutions.
- Delivery and unboxing: Your service includes delivery to a room serviced by an elevator or up to the third floor. Then, we’ll unbox your new video device to prepare for setup.
- Configuring your TV: We’ll complete your smart TV’s initial software configuration process so it’s ready for us complete your service.
- Connecting your video device: We'll connect up to two video devices to your TV or A/V receiver and configure the picture, sound and general settings.
- Connecting to your home network: We’ll add your video device(s) to your existing wireless network and perform the necessary software or firmware updates.
- Configuring your subscriptions and accounts: Once connected to the network, we'll configure up to three subscription services as needed (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc.).
- Neatly dressing visible cables: We'll make sure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed and that wire ties are used when necessary.
- Configuring mobile app: If you’re interested in screen mirroring, we can help you download and configure the required app on your compatible mobile device.
- Programming remote controls: Our installers will program manufacturer or service provider remote controls (DirectTV, Xfinity, etc.) and, if applicable, configure an existing voice control device for basic TV control commands.
- System demo and education: Once the services are completed, we’ll perform a system demo to show you the features and benefits of your new technology. We’ll answer any questions you may have and discuss additional solutions that will improve your experience.
- Cleaning up and removing packaging: After the installation, we'll clean up the work area and remove any packaging your products came in.
Disclaimers
- This service does not include TV assembly and/or mounting, network setup, antenna setup, setting up a soundbar or receiver, or wire concealment.
- Additional charges may apply for delivery or services in extended areas, and the charges are based on location. Service returns cannot be accepted after installation services are completed.
- We provide a 90-day workmanship warranty on applicable services. If a service call is needed within the warranty period, there will be a $99.99 deposit plus applicable taxes at the time of scheduling which will be refunded to you if we determine that there was a defect in our workmanship. This warranty begins from the date of service completion.
Q: How long is your extended warranty on a 65 in 4k tv and how much ?
A: You can check any of the TVs you want on BestBuy.com they have the available Geek Squad protection plans listed to the right and down a bit check it out, each plan is based off the cost of the tv more expensive TVs will have a higher coverage cost. So select the TV you are interested in and you should be able to see the cost and how long they will cover the tv for as there are multiple plans covering 2-5 years with different cost for each.
Q: DELIVERY IS INCLUDED? ALSO SET UP A SOUNDBAR? FOR THE PRICE $119.99
A: Delivery is only free on some TVs or with special sales, if you check the TV you want and scroll down on Bestbuy.com there will be a panel on the right that will have delivery options if you want mounting and installation this starts at 179.99 and depending on what you want done can go upwards depending on size of TV and what you are adding to the system, Like the Soundbar set up is an additional cost as well. The TV mounting at 179.99 just covers taking it out of the box and mounting it to the wall no connections to devices or demo. The Sound bar setup and mounting was showing as 169.99, this would be in addition to the tv mounting and neither would include the mounts for the units.
