    Not real techs. Wouldnt diagnose or fix anything.

    Had set up for soundbar repair not setup after canceling twice without calling me finally showed up tried get me to reschedule again mind you already cgarged me for work two weeks ago, showed up when wouldnt reschedule told me couldnt fix anything just wanted to move what did work around to spread sound which i wouldve done anyway if i knew they wouldnt fix anything.

    In a hurry to get it set up and leave. Didn’t take time to explain anything.. RIP OFF!!!

While this service would cover connecting and setting up many audio components of your home theater, it would not include an in depth consultation on your home theater system.     Horrible they did not hook up things properly. The tv is not google hook up. They plug in the sound bar but did not hook it to TV and make sure it works

    The sound bar that is grossly misunderstood.

    The sound bar to this date still varies in sound clarity. With or with out my wife’s hearing aids or mine. Sound at the bar goes in and out of voice clarity my wife is very disappointed in it’s performance to the description. She calls it a grossly made statement misunderstanding of the advertising to the quality of voice clarity and i to feel the same. With that being said we wish to return the item and look else were please. The sound bar is what we hope it to be but NOT. Thank you for allowing us the explain our disappointment and most of all the Qeek Sguad for there efforts to make thins work during the 5 to 6 trips made. Vic and Pat Kulikowski

    More Training Required

    The agents disconnected my Vizio sound bar and connected my new Bose 900 sound bar, however, they did not know how to set up my TV with the new sound bar. Ultimately I had to go through the setup to make the sound bar work. These guys need more training.

    Geek Squad did ok, but, didn’t give us the remote that came with the sound bar.

      Thanks for sharing this with us! We want you to enjoy your new soundbar to the fullest, but we get how that would be hard to do if you were never given the remote. That's not the stress-free set-up we intended, but we're glad you let us know so we can try to make things right. If you contact (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778, one of our phone reps might be able to get in touch with the Agents that came out and get your remote back to you. Otherwise, you can call 1 (866) 933-5552 to get a replacement remote if you have a Geek Squad Protection Plan. If that doesn't work, Sony, who can be reached at (800) 538-7550, should be able to replace the remote under the manufacturer warranty.

    Same contract workers that set up 55 inch TV did this installation, not that impressed.

    sony soundbar installation/back speaker wall mount

    not done, speaker wall mounts was defective in box and after 3 attempts and 3 calls and miscommunication about new speaker wall mounts who is getting them. Still not completed installation

    No One showed up to install the Soundbar I purchased. No One called to say they were not coming. No One called to reschedule the installation. I called Customer Service, The Representative had No answer for why the technician was A No Show. I Canceled my order and requested a Full refund. I returned to the store and requested to speak to a Manager, Who seem to not really care that the Technician was a No Show and did not care that I had canceled my order and was there to get my Refund. That Sucks!!!!!!!

    I originally signed-up for GEEK to be sure my new 4K Sony was properly set up. Then the problems began - with service! The 2 men who delivered were not GEEK squad. The were 3rd party delivery men who knew only a few basics regarding hooking up elec. equipment. They were pleasant, and they got the very minimum done, and left me with a few booklets provided by Sony. After calling Best Buy several times inquiring about GEEK assistance, and after a rather long wait, I finally saw a true GEEK service tech @ my door. His name was Dave, & he did a terrific job. He not only properly set-up my equipment, but he also explained everything to me. In closing, if you offer GEEK assistance, deliver that assistance! Thank, You, Bob@1412

    the item was defective and the techs advised me not to buy or exchange this item for the same. i'm not impressed with the product and was dissapointed with the lack of quality. the geek squad team was impressive and i would highly recommend them. i'm not unhappy with best buy, i'm just sad i couldn't resolve this with an exchange.

    3rd party service, not Geek Squad. Said sound bar did not work. I took the equipment to store and it worked fine. Geek Squad is coming to reinstall. No more 3rd party contractors, please!
