Don't call Geek Squad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We ask to have our reciever installed. First appointment time came and went, hour and half later they showed up. Came in installed and left. Did not explain anything. Tried to get some information on operation of the unit. The tech reached in the box and said here is the manual. It was not. This is not a plug and play unit, I am very dissatisfied with the service. I will never use them again. Plus the tech scratch the cabinet, did not say anything. Just poor service.

they pluged in my panamax

Geek squad tried installing my sound bar.

She went to website and called two other techs. Allthough i told her about 5 times the link up button was on base box. Would not listen to me. PS Ihad it installed before she even got here. I was hoping she could link to tv, and Alexa. So much for that

Bad Tech

It was not working properly when he left I called him with in 3 minutes to tell him that..... his response I'm late for my next appointment call and make another appointment or return the sound bar .......very unprofessional.

Did not show how to use the new controller.

Very disappointed. We paid $200 dollars for the set up which included $50 to connect the audio. It was one wire.

Inadequate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knew I was going to have to set up the universal remote system (Harmony IR) myself, but as it turns out they did not correctly attach everything that had oreviously been attached to the other TV. I specifically told the salesperson what my setup included, apparently it did not get communicated to the installers. I had to contact the guys who had done the original custom installation and pay him to correct what these guys did wrong. Regretting not hiring him to begin with, as he would have charged me less than half what Geek Squad charged, and he would have done it right the first time!

Told rescheduled at Best buy - but charged service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have discussed with BestBuy as my order was not delivered to store on time so reschedule the audio set up service and they told me to wait until the day of appointment to see if I do not get the item at BestBuy then tell them to reschedule. I could not reach the person or do it online or by phone on the dat so I went to Bestbuy and the Geek sqaud person "Lisa" spoke to the service guy and told him to reschedule the appointment and told I will not be charged for it. But later when I checked I was charged for the service. Worst service from Bestbuy.

Poor follow-up customer service

However after one week the soundbar would not interface with our TV. I called the Geek squad person who had given me his card and both times I called he di not respond. Poor customer service for which I paid obet $200

Software installation issues

The computer requests that I make an appointment for installation. It verifies the appointment. Two hours later it cancels the appointment and requests I make an appointment to have the soundbars installed. This has been going on since purchase. You apparently have a software glitch that, so far, to my knowledge has not been fixed. I would like my soundbars. This install problem appears to be limited to soundbars.

Good luck with this remote.

Geek came out , we had to go on the internet, he ultimately had to "phone a friend" to get this $250 remote to barely function. He had the AV set up in an hour and had to take 3 hours and lots of external support to get the remote to co-ordinate, HE TRIED HARD. Just had junk to work with. Still have NOT had a smooth transition from TV to MOVIE or XBOX yet. TV will turn off and have to press sequence of ON-OFF- then TOGGLE to get it to come back on.

Two Tries
