    The agent was not experienced at mounting the sound bar. Difficulty dealing with walls that are hollow. Had to ask him to optimize the sound bar once installed. He was passive and not enthusiastic in putting together the sound system

    The agents mounted a bent sound bar. Not a big deal. So far we've had 3 separate appointments which make you stay home a least half a day and still no soundbar. the first one came and realized he needed another set of hands. the second came just to deliver with no tools, the third came with a severely damaged soundbar. We haven't had the fourth effort yet but so far I've canceled a golf outing an ac trip and still no sound bar. They also damaged my screen door in early sept. and have yet failed to reimburse me for the new one. Getting in touch with their insurance agent is a 10 calls no response situation.

    Unfortunately, the GS tech was unable to connect the Bose sound bar when setting up new TV. The function had to be completed by TV provider tech. However, he was able to complete the balance of TV set-up (newly purchased) as well as mount to wall. This review focused on sound bar only.

    The agents who arrived for setup were unprofessional and demanding. Despite having paid online, they insisted on an additional payment, which felt like blackmail. They also pressured me to leave a 5-star review, making it feel like an obligatory demand. I do not recommend these individuals.

    At the appointment for installation, it was determined that we did not want this item (soundbar). So one of the techs said he would take it back and we would get a refund. I do NOT see the refund listed.

    The agent mounted the TV, added the Flex unit. It looked great until he left and we tried to use the Flex, it caused other components to fail. I could NOT get the agent to return. When i called in, not 10 minutes after the agent left, all i got was the run-around. I paid for the Geek Squad, i just hope they are more helpful if/when i need them but i am regretting this purchase

    Bad work on Sound Bar Install

    Two Techs the first visit then one on the second. The sound bar still does not work correctly. When I attempt to use it the TV turns OFF.

    Technician mounted sound bar so we have to point the cable remote behind the tv to turn it on/off and control the volume. He left his card and number to call if we needed him to come back for any reason. So I called, and he never returned my call. I called Best Buy to get a different tech and was told I’d have to wait over a month to have someone come and fix it. Ugh! The tv is mounted on the mantle and the extra cable wire is attached at the top back in the middle. I’m elderly and can’t get up on a ladder and do it myself. I’m going to try to get a friend to come and fix it. I’ve never had a problem with Geek Squad before. Usually, they go above and beyond to make sure I’m satisfied with their work. This is a first!

    The people came to my house to install my soundbar. I did most of the work myself; I just couldn’t take down the TV that was installed the last time from Best Buy. (Too big for one person). They told me that they’re not here to take down a tv, just here to install a soundbar. The soundbar was going on a table, not on the wall. How would you install a soundbar if you can’t remove the tv. It made no sense. I would have done it myself but the tv is so close to the wall I can’t get my hand behind it to place then hmi cable in the back.

    The initial setup took some time because of remote programming issues. The second visit helpted but did not fully reolve the problem.

    I'm not sure this was worth it! They connected a cable to my surround sound and to the head phone jack of the new tv. That was it!
