    Did not balance the home theater system

    The audio connections within the home theater system were all that was done. I was unexpectedly charged a separate fee for the setup of Zone B. With a new receiver, I believe that the system should have been balanced as paret of the audio setup.

That said, we know surprise chargers are never ideal, so it's discouraging to hear this was your experience. According to the Basic Audio Setup description on our site, the service would cover a Geek Squad Agent connecting your audio components to a surround sound speaker system or sound bar in a single room. If Zone B was in the same room as Zone A that you initially came to us for, I recommend calling (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778 so they can look into your options.

    Never Fixed and No Follow-up

    The service to install the BOSE soundbar had been pathetic. The tech walked away from first installtion appointment saying it will take BOSE long to install update. We had to reschedule second appointment and it was just a site survey, no corrections were made. When I called again the CS said that she opened a review into the installtion and a manager will call me its more than 48 hours and I have had no contact from any best buy manager. So unprofessional. DO NOT RELY ON GEEK SQUAD THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX ISSUES WITH HOME THEATER

    Installer was explicitly required to setup soundbar using HDMI ARC with CEC control, but he only connected optical cable and left customer’s resistance. When called by customer’s son over phone, he lied by saying HDMI ARC and CEC was installed and working. When customers son finally was able to visit the home, he saw the bad installation.

    I have to wait 30 to 60 seconds for the volume to come on with this sound bar and that is ridiculous the tech that was here just it was just because, unacceptable.

    The agent installed sound-bar, but I don't hear any difference. A follow up agent has been scheduled to see if an improvement can be made.

    Theagents were good mounted everything and made sure it was working correct but BestBuy rescheduled my appointment three times at the last minute .

    This particular agent did a fantastic job on theater installation. Another agent that "set up" my computer was a total disaster. Did only 1 of 16 tasks listed in the service. She also ruined my telephone system, attempted to install a fax what fried my analog to VOIP box, installed an interface for printing that was deficient, not even listening to my instructions, refused to test any of her work, and found repeated false excuses that were false to leave the job immediately

    The sound bas was the wrong type for my new TV. It was not purchased at best buy. However I paid $88.00 for the squad to setup and that could not happen.

    The guys who came out were accommodating and friendly. Best Buy charged $99 to test our Bose sound bar. These employees tried to turn it on and said it did not work. That was it. $99 - no testing beyond that. There was no technical testing beyond on/off. The other charge was 49 to set up sound bars which they said did not work, so they charged any way - nothing to set up- of course how could you set up sound on non working sound bars. A call resulted in no reply. They have are non-responsive - do not follow up - they have your charge card and that is the name of their game! I do not recommend. The techs they send out are limited beyond hanging a tv on the wall. I doubt they post this review!

    Sound Bar Fix sound

    The first person that came in December sat with me and showed me and helped. He was great! However, the problem still existed so I called to have Geek Squad come again, The two men didn’t help or talk. Didn’t fix problem at all. I would ask them a question and they didn’t talk. I told them I would call again to get someone else to come to my home to fix the issue. They were horrendous and rude. One tried to be nice after I said they could leave but still didn’t fix the problem. Worst service experience ever!

    Undelivered and installed sound bar

    Geek squad refused to come and install the sound bar. After canceling several appointments they finally said we do not install sound bars. Seems like those who schedule the appointments would know this information. They also failed to deliver the sound bar after scheduling deliveries twice and not showing up. I finally had to make arrangements to one up at the store. One is probably too high of a rating for their service.

    quite simply this has been the worst purchase experience of my life as I ordered it twice and both times the soundbar didn't work. BOTH TIMES! The Geek Squad was great but Total Tech doesn't communicate well with them nor does Best Buy and so the whole experience has been hellish and I was asked both times that I should return the item which was absurd considering it didn't work and it truly is up to you to return it and not to make it difficult to get an exchange.

    I scheduled an appointment to have someone from the geek squad come to repair the tv sound bar that was installed by the geek squad, since it was not working correctly. When the tech arrived, all he did was ask me for new batteries, to which he replaced the old batteries in the remote and supposedly changed some setting on the TV. When the TV was put on later that evening, the sound bar still was not working correctly. Currently, the sound bar is still not properly working. I’m extremely dissatisfied and beyond frustrated. This was my third attempt at getting this sound bar fixed and nothing has been accomplished.

    Continue to have a problem with the sound bar. The voice is not syncing with the lips I even change my cable company and it’s still happening on ABC mostly. So I don’t believe it’s the cable company. I think it’s the sound bar which I’d like to throw out the window very very discouraging. Will go to Best Buy to see if I can return this. Geek squad has been here but problem still persist so I don’t think it’s them

    Been here twice. Fixed for 1 day only both times. Called back again and tech said nothing he could do and he is not coming back. What kind of service is this?I paid 2100.00 for this sound bar- not a cheap one. I was replacing my Bose system.Would like a follow up by someone in charge.
