    Disappointing…. Waste of $99

    The technician was not able to fix my audio set up. He stated that some of the the speaker outlets in the amplifier did not work which we found was not correct. Someone else fixed the problem with the same amplifier and we realized some basic troubleshooting was not done by the technician (e.g. tracing wires to speakers & connections of all the speakers to amp)

    This review refers to original Geek Squad service to install sound bar. Item was missing installation parts. Geek Squad personnel didn't offer to help and left with sound bar setting on a cabinet when I wanted it mounted on the wall.

    3 guys came to install our new TV and connect it to the existing audio and video feeds in our home. One guy did nothing. The other two dissed our existing audio cables (RCA) and at first said couldn't be done. Also noticed that we had just switched our internet to AT&T and one of the gurs said that we'll regret it and be sorry. Asked if this was for sure the 4K, and they weren't real sure. Not very professional.

    I Had a really Strange Experience, I spend $200 to have the technician installed the TV and Sound Bar. But the guy that was installing it didn’t know English very well. I emailed Best Buy to let them know how it went,it was a waste of $200 to not know how to used my TV and Sound Bar. I had to just read the manual.

    The tv worked while here but after he left I turned it off and when I turned back on it didn’t work. Need additional help.

    Speaker sound setup lasted about 7 days. I'm mad

    The agent hooked up my stereo sound to the inside and outside speakers. This lasted about a week. Very disappointing.

    i paid for them to install the speakers with Television, amp and speakers. The system still says NEEDS INITIAL SETUP, I HAVE CALLED, TRIED TO GET THEM BACK HERE..TO NO AVAIL. I CANT GET THEM ON THE PHONE, OR ON THE INTERNET. WHEN YOU TRY TO ASK FOR RESCHEDULE IT WANTS TO CHARGE ME ANOTHER 200.00. I PAID THAT MONEY AND CANT USE ANYTHING! ITS RIDICULOUS. POOREST QUALITY OF INSTALL I HAVE EVER RECEIVED.

    No install, Install due to salesperson mistake.

    Not a good experience. I purchased a sonos arc. The salesman did not tell me I needed a separate bracket to install it on the wall. The 3rd party came out said they could not install. Now i will have to go back to the store purchase the bracket and schedule another appointment. What a waste.

    Frankly the service didn't live up to expectations for the price. Multiple trips were necessary and they weren't able to complete without charging more.

    Had no clue how to hook up bose 700 subwoofer to bose 700 soundbar. I had to figure it out and tell them how to do it

    I ordered the in home service and they went to the wrong house in the wrong state. Took 4 weeks and 5 phone calls to try and straighten it out

    I did not get Geek Squad service that I paid for.I got a third party who knew nothing about my TV . They were pathetic. They were called COOL CAT Installations. They were just plain sorry. I finally got Spectrum people tpo come out and set it up and they did better although not perfect.

    Again, the agents never look at instructions therefore installed bad! This is a brand new special sound bar not installed complete.

    I did not know that the Geek Squad uses Sub Contra

    I did not know that the Geek Squad uses Sub Contractor to fulfill their Service Request. I received text and email communication however I failed to answer the phone and upon the call back I received no response. Also, the 800 number that Best Buy offers is actually a Call Center and was shown to be ineffective in assisting.

    They did such a poor job of wiring audio for home theater, I needed to remove everything they had done and redo it in a logical manner. Also, they attempted to hide wiring but got wires so tangled and stretched I had to buy some new cables.
