    Can't get a Geek Squad response

    I recently signed up for a Best Buy credit card and the Elite membership. I read somewhere that Geek Squad setup is included free with this. I wanted to check on the specifics of this as to how far the Geek Squad would travel and if products not charged to by Best Buy credit card (that were gifts) would still be included in the free set up. I started with a customer service online chat. I received a response to call the Geek Squad. I called and was transferred 6 times before being hung up on. Then I tried a Geek Squad chat and was told to call Geek Squad. I've spent an hour so far just trying to get a simple answer. If this is any indication of how the Geek Squad service would be then it is not worth it.

    Incomplete Service!

    The problem was not fixed and even though the technician gave me his phone number and said to contact him if I had any problems, he did not return any of my calls. I am still waiting for Best Buy to give me a credit as the problem has not been fixed.

    Paid for set up but didn't get

    The guy arrived at least an hour late. Called 70 minutes prior to say he had to go pick up the TV. He put the legs on it and said he was done since he didn't have a cable signal. I said I could call Cable company (and I did) but he had gone by then. Obviously he did not work for Geek Squad. Said he only knew how to set up direct TV. He did not connect VCR or any other parts. He was on the phone most of the 20 minutes he was in house. VERY POOR SERVICE I would never recomment.

    Sound Bar Inoperative Set Up

    The agents set up the sound bar and it hasn't work , since they left on day of set up. It mutes the sound on the TV, so I have to completely turn off sound bar in order to get any sound from the TV itself.

    These folks must have been trained by the cable company - they had a 4 hour window to arrive - no show and no call...when I called (Not) Best Buy - they had no idea what to do except put me on hold for over 45 minutes...as of right now, they have my money and have failed to provide any service at all...
