I’m not tec savvy. The thought of having to carry in all my new equipment and set it scared the dickens out of me. I didn’t have to worry because the Geek Squad did it all. They brought everything in and hooked all the old equipment placed the new equipment where I wanted it and hooked it all up. They made sure all the remotes were working even my cable remote. Then made sure I knew how to use everything. A new TV, sound bar and Blu-ray/DVD player. Everything I needed for a movie night with friends. And I only had to make the popcorn. The Geek Squad did the rest.

Sound bar connected with HDMI to TV, sound delay issues when turned on TV. with my Logitech remote. Geek returned to connect Optical to TV, No more sound delays : )

My worst experience with the soundbar that I had purchased yes they did come and install it but i am still having trouble with it. The soundbar does not come on at the same time as the TV like it should. I keep on telling them it is because my TV has an EARC connection and the soundbar is ARC and it is not that compatible but no they tell me I'm wrong, they say it will work but when I did my research yes it will, but your will not get the full effect of an erac you will get noise. I am a good paying customer, and they cannot exchange this for me to me this is bad service. oh and another thing is that I chatted with geek squad and supposedly the chat agent was going to put notes so that they could exchange it for me and when i got to the store they told me "we don't have access to that" then why have us chat if the store is not going to have access to that. I will attach a picture, i also have videos if they want to see which i highly doubt because they don't understand, the money that was spent completely down the drain ($400.00 PLUS THE INSTALATION SERVICE). I AM NOT A SATIFIED CUSTOMER AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same guys installed my 98" tv. Very knowledgeable guys, explained all steps during install and answered all questions!

The initial set up was done by two young "Geekers". They set up the TV fine, but were at a loss as to how to connect it to my older Yamaha surround sound system. Another person came out who installed the additional cable adapter I purchased, but he couldn't get everything to work. The next rep was excellent. He found the problem, explained it to me in plain language and told me what equipment I needed (a new Tuner/Amp). He came back after we purchased the new amp and did a terrific job installing it.
So the first Geekers rate maybe a two, the next one a three, but Tyler rates a 5+. The average is 4!

Fix my soundbar

The technicians that came had some difficulty finding the issue that had occurred with our soundbar, but they reset the entire system including the television until they ultimately found that the HDMI cable had gone bad. That fixed the problem and now everything is working perfectly. I wouldn't have thought of that issue as the cables were only about 6 months old and didn't realize they can fail they quickly.
