The Geek Squad was professional and followed COVID protocol. They did good job reconnecting my sound bar.

There is no way I would have been able to install and connect my new home theater system myself. The Geek Squad came in and did an excellent (and quick ) job, and made it look easy. And I have not had any issues whatsoever with the system since. I don't know why anyone would choose to install a complicated system themselves, and not have the Geek Squad do it, particularly given the relatively inexpensive cost associated with the service. What I paid was well worth not having the aggravation I know I would have experienced had I chosen to tackle the installation myself . . . .

The agent hooked up my blue tooth sound bar to my hearing aids and reprogrammed my remote controls to simplify their use.

I couldn’t have asked for a better installation team. The knowledge of the team was great. They actually sold me on other solutions (that i purchased), while performing the install. This is definitely a benefit they should keep under thr total tech program and not charge extra.

The agents were able to get my audio set up, but a minor error was using an outlet that is connected to a wall switch so if that switch was off, the audio did not work. The switch was on when they set it up so I didn't realize this until a few days later and was initially confused as to why my surround sound speakers only worked periodically. A new agent was sent out to trouble shoot the issue, but he wasn't experienced enough to determine the problem rather a friend was able to figure it out. Good job on the initial set up, but not so great for the agent who was sent out to troubleshoot the error.

Geek Squad installed and setup receivers quickly

Dario the Geek technician had excellent knowledge and experience with setting up a Marantz and Yamaha receivers with our existing speakers, Blu-ray DVD's, Sonos Port, etc. in our media and living room. Additionally he reviewed the receiver, TV and Xfinity cable box configuration settings with me after he had completed setting up each receiver. I would recommend the Geek squad technicians for setting up home surround systems and TV's.
