Dissatisfied with Geek Squad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Geek Squad did not finish the job because they had problems with set up of one of the sound systems and refuse to return my calls to advise when they will return. We got along well when they were here so I don’t understand. Very dissatisfied now and need this addressed. Thank you.

Stay clear of Geek Squad

I took time off from work to wait and nobody showed up. Horrible service and incompetent team. I give up and will have to pay a professional to do the work for me.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.They did not show up for the appointment, They did not call and let us know that nobody was coming, when i called them to check, they said they need to reschedule because there was a problem with the technician. They should have called early on the day to let us know. The lady on the phone was unapologetic and did not care that we just wasted our entire morning waiting for them to come and install the TV mount. I went back to bestbuy and cancelled the service and got a refund.

Posted .It's disappointing to know this has been your experience when choosing to have Best Buy install your TV mount. Realizing that the return has already taken place, I can only hope there will be a time in the near future where you're able to make Best Buy your shopping destination once again. Horrible service left a mess behind!

I had to notice after plugging in the tv that was mounted crooked and not even plugged in! What kind of horrible job and quality of work is this? What happened to taking pride in your workmanship?

Geek Squad installed bad TV.

Sono speaker connection worked for the TV, however, Sono as a stand-alone for Pandora no loner work not only for the speaker connected to the TV but for all other speakers. The Apple app does not work. Lastly, 2 days after the Sony TV installation the TV cannot be turned on. Not good.

Awful service and support

Geek Squad agent decided to show up at a different time then scheduled and no one was around to let him in. Called support and turns out no agent was available during my scheduled appointment so the best they could do was to reschedule me again 4 weeks out or cancel the order

Poor install

TV Installation

They asked me to pay extra or buy a mount from them. Also they didnt have a proper understanding of how to mount the mantel mount TV. They were figuring it out as they go.

Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was supposed to get my tv installed or even mounted - it was just dropped off. I tried calling support twice and both men do not speak very good English and just repeated over and over until I could not waste any more time - even after I politely asked for another person. I want my money back for services I did not receive and just get the run-around

Poor communication

However, I am waiting on a fourth visit due to the items not working properly. We also ended up spending almost $1000 additional in order to get the new television to work due to older hookups. We were not informed of this in the store.

No show

When I called Best Buy the response was that they would let me know in 48 hours why they didn’t show. That was really not helpful. In short a customer service is really poor. Still no response.

Geek Squad No Show

Biggest problem is Best Buy central scheduling. USLESS!! If only I could talk to a real person at my local store? Impossible I think?

TV mounted crooked

However, the TV is mounted crooked. It is visibly crooked on the wall. It is obvious that they did not use the level properly, as I checked it with my level and was able to discern it is off.
