We’ll do the heavy lifting and save you time and hassle. Enjoy the convenience of our installers professionally setting up and mounting your TV to the wall and configuring your video components. We’ll make recommendations on placement for the best viewing experience and conceal properly rated cabling within the wall in a single stud bay. We'll also add your TV and connected devices to an existing wireless network, perform any needed software or firmware updates, and configure up to two smart streaming services, like Netflix or Disney+. In addition, we’ll program the remotes that come with your equipment and configure an existing voice-control device for basic TV control commands. Once the setup is finished, we’ll take the time to demo your new technology and make sure you know how to use it. Finally, we’ll ensure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed and the workspace is clean when we finish. Best Buy’s TV services are backed by a 90-day limited workmanship warranty.

  • Delivery, unboxing and assembly: We’ll deliver to a room serviced by an elevator or up to the third floor. Then, we’ll unbox your new TV and attach it to the wall mount bracket for TV mounting service or to the base/pedestal. For some TVs, the delivery and installation may be scheduled separately.
  • Mounting your TV and concealing cables: We’ll help choose the best placement for your TV and mount it to a standard frame wall with a drywall surface. We’ll also conceal the properly rated video cables in the wall within a single stud bay and connect the power cable to an existing outlet. Moving an electrical outlet isn’t included and power cables can’t be concealed within the wall.
  • Connecting your video devices: We'll connect one new or existing TV to your video components in a single room.
  • Connecting to your home network: After the TV and video devices are connected, we'll add them to your existing wireless network and perform the necessary software or firmware updates.
  • Configuring your subscriptions and accounts: Once connected to the network, we'll configure up to two smart streaming services as needed (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, etc.) and assist in setting up your associated user accounts.
  • Programming remote controls: Our installers will program manufacturer or service provider remote controls (DirectTV, Xfinity, etc.) and, if applicable, configure an existing voice control device for basic TV control commands.
  • Neatly dress visible cables: We'll make sure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed and that wire ties are used when necessary.
  • System demo and education: Once the services are completed, we’ll perform a system demo to show you the features and benefits of your new technology. We’ll answer any questions you may have and discuss additional solutions that will improve your TV experience.
